no doubt i think hatton is a good fighter. i don't care much for his style or some of the dirty tricks he's done that for some unknown reason have yet to be corrected by a ref. i hope jay nady gets to ref his next fight. hatton will be so frustrated.

although i wouldn't say ricky is a great, i can't understand how some people say he sucks. he may be overrated by many, especially in britain, but i sure wouldn't say he is a bum or just an average fighter

I'm a Tszyu fan and he's got power in both hands but what i meant is he looks to throw the right hand far too often. Learn to read between the lines.
      okay noob, i will try.

yup, tszyu doesn't have a left hook(which was touted as effective as his right early in his career), or a stiff jab, or a crafty uppercut on the inside.

Sure, Hatton has looked like a brawler in his last three fights but for good reason - he knew he needed to smother Tszyu and not allow him to fully extend his right elbow (or else!), he thought that Maussa couldn't fight backing up, and against Collazo he was carrying far too much unnecessary weight and so had little flexibility to do much else other than just walk straight in and be sloppy and awful (compared to his usual self).

It's no fault of Ricky's that Mitchell and Harris were running scared of him for years, agreeing to fights with him only to back out after watching Hatton video's, etc. But recently it got to the point with Hatton where it would be a step BACK to fight Mitchell or Harris, having beat the men who beat them.. it's funny to think back now to the days when Hatton was being so criticised in America (even though Mitchell or Harris just would not get in the ring with him).

Well your just a ***in sarcastic asshead arent you. Re read my post . Tszyu has power in both hands but looks to throw the right hand far too often. Where did I say there that he doesnt have anything behind his jab , hook or uppercut.

Hatton can box...but he prefers to make it a street fight. I dont think the added weight had anything to do with his awful performance against Collazo. It was Collazo being a southpaw that ***ed him up. He got lucky in the 12th there, he has a dam good chin.

dude, you really need to learn who you're talking to.

tszyu's right is only "hyped" by the media. he's a bit more crafty than that. if you've seen any of his amateur fights(are especially good examples), or some of the other great displays of boxing throughout his career, you wouldn't think he mostly just looks to land the right.

spend some time around here - and keep that healthy name calling up.

I really need to learn who i am talking too ? because you have over 1000 posts and i have only 200 that makes you the official boxing historian on here ? it makes you smarter than i am ? you initiated the name calling here and i was just trying to be nice.

But again let me say that I have watched enough of Tsyzu's fights to know he is a well rounder power puncher who has an arsenal of punches. I said he favoured the RIGHT HAND.

You jumped from implying that Tszyu only has a right hand to saying that he favours it. ~_-

Anyways, Hatton is underrated now, due to his looking **** with Collazo. People always judge a fighter PURELY based on their last fight. It's a strange thing that goes on. I mean, fair enough if you put more weight on the last fight, but to not even consider previous fights, is, well, a fallacy of many boxing fans.

It had everything to do with it, Everything.

                      I don't rate Collazo, I don't believe he's a very good fighter.
