There is not a lot of difference its personal preference as to how they feel good on your hand, I couldnt feel a difference getting hit by the same guy using the two types.

The glove itself means nothing. who is wearing them means everything, if it was some big advantage everyone would use the same glove.

Fans blow this sht way out of proportion, they look for any reason for defeat other than one guy was better.

He fought maidana twice in 8oz gloves, maidana weighing 165 fight night to maywweathers 148. Conor will have 5 pounds, maybe on maidanas size and no where near the power or experience.

Mosley was wearing 8 oz gloves when he landed his best shot, twice, on mayweather.
