I think Canelo will forfeit. Well actually he might get in the ring and then as soon as the bell rings to start the fight his corner will throw in the towel. Of course kidding.

My prediction is 10th round TKO for Golovkin. I do not think it is an easy fight for Golovkin though I know there is a sizable portion of Golovkin people who do.

It may turn out to be a good fight that could go either way or maybe Canelo wins in a close fight. I can see how people could predict Canelo to win but winning easy, there simply is nothing in Canelo's career that leads to that as a reasonable/logical assumption. There is nothing in Golovkin's career that leads to that as a reasonable assumption either. IMO that is strictly just a leap of faith prediction. Of course anything is possible.

How many people had Ward beating Kovalov by TKO??? No thing in Wards career lead to that prediction.

I got who adapts faster winning this fight. The body blow(earlier and more of them) followed with good jab combos will win it.

Canelo by MD or SD...Some judge will like the better boxer and some the better puncher/ring generalship.

LOL! Couldn't you have used a less controversial ending? I would say the huge punch and how it rocked Kovalev was actually a bit more surprising to me than how the fight ended.

I was expecting that one to come up. It goes to show anything can happen but again there is nothing in the past to indicate Canelo will win by KO/TKO.

Im one of the few who felt the ref did a shty job. But WTF was Kov. Looking for help from him??? That ref. Wasn't gonna do jack sht to help Kovalov. I mean even Ward STOPPED, looked over at the ref. expecting a warning or something. D idnt see anything and was like ALL good!! Continue on. The ref. Was not gonna do anything remotely fair. Those were some low blows and I don't care what anyone else says... I can see with my own eyes

Kov. Should of stopped looking for help from the ref. And started fighting doing the same low blows to him ..Then protest it when HE got warned. I guarantee if Kov. Was trying that low he would of been warned

I agree he should have fired one back low blow even if it was way obvious.

1) that sparring session means very little..... but if it is relevant at all, then the main point is not who "won"..... but who learned the most

2) there were two witnesses to that session..... one guy is credible, and the other guy has no credibility whatsoever..... the credible observer stated that it was 50/50, nothing in it

3) that sparring session means very little, for the reasons explained in the article..... they are both different fighters now, and Canelo has developed significantly

My cable company had some fights on demand, so rewatched GGG/Jacobs last night.

Jacobs was a monster in there compared to GGG, and actually won the jab battle for the first 3 rounds till the pressure started to pile on. I see the jab battle being in GGG's favor in this fight, but Canelo is a peaking fighter it seems. Great fight!
