Comments Thread For: Canelo: Can't Base Everything on Sparring Sessions With Golovkin

I dunno about this. Nullifying GGG's power. To do so, Canelo would need to put in alot of energy which he's not acustomed to(He seems to fade in between rounds which he can't afford). Plus GGG is pretty accurate when he goes for specific shots.I think that once canelo nullifies gggs "power" it's easy pickings all night for canelo. Canelo is gonna win fairly easily and all you guys saying it's a even fight will be exposed as graduates for the university of ydksabComment

I don't think anyone who truly knows boxing or doesn't have some ulterior motive (Floyd) believe Canelo is going to win easily.Comment

You'd be surprised how many clowns still bring that up. They keep saying that Triple g rocked Canelo when they sparred 7 years ago and that's why Triple g will win the fight.I guess that's news to me. I've been following a lot of these Canelo/GGG threads and never read anyone claiming that GGG schooled Canelo in sparring. I agree though, even if he did it doesn't matter. That was 6 years ago.
Hopefully this fight lives up to the hype and no BS decisions or drama.
The sad thing is, as good of a fight as this should be, nobody is talking about it. The only fight in the spotlight is the crapshow of Mayweather McGreggor.
Bunch of fools on here!Comment

Plenty do! Only a fool wouldn't think this is a close fight.
Let me guess your predicting GGG to win by round 1 if Canelo is lucky??
What round you predicting GGG to STOMP Canelo???Comment

I think Canelo will forfeit. Well actually he might get in the ring and then as soon as the bell rings to start the fight his corner will throw in the towel. Of course kidding.
My prediction is 10th round TKO for Golovkin. I do not think it is an easy fight for Golovkin though I know there is a sizable portion of Golovkin people who do.
It may turn out to be a good fight that could go either way or maybe Canelo wins in a close fight. I can see how people could predict Canelo to win but winning easy, there simply is nothing in Canelo's career that leads to that as a reasonable/logical assumption. There is nothing in Golovkin's career that leads to that as a reasonable assumption either. IMO that is strictly just a leap of faith prediction. Of course anything is possible.Comment
