As far as the thread. I think the window of opportunity for a middle weight title has passed. He may be too old. Idk depends on how GGG or canelo looks. Also how he looks verses Connor. Even still. If he can't make 154 I think it's absolutely ****** to fight people who weight 15 to 20 lbs more Than you over 40 years old

Stayed retired for 21 months. Retired again in 2015 for 2 years. That's a total of 45 months retired which is almost 4 years. He started fighting October 1996. Do the match.. That's NOT 20 years of dominating the sport. Keep up
So it's gone from "5 years" to "almost 4 years"

He didn't retire after Baldomir or Oscar so you can knock another year off your imaginary list so it's more like almost 3 years.

He retired after DLH and was crying his ass off after Baldomir like a B1tch.

He retired 4-5 times and was retired for 4 years when you round everything out give or take a few months

Multiple world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr has agreed to come out of retirement to fight British boxer Ricky Hatton.

The 30-year-old Mayweather had ended his boxing career after his split-decision victory over Oscar De La Hoya to win the WBC super-welterweight title in May.

But the prospect of facing Hatton was enough incentive for the flamboyant Mayweather to return to the ring.

Mayweather's adviser Leonard Ellerbe agreed the challenge was too good to turn down.

"We've agreed to the fight. We're excited that Ricky Hatton is stepping up to the plate. It's like this - he asked for it and now he's going to get it," he said.

The 28-year-old Hatton will move up a division from light-welterweight for the fight.

Hatton's trainer Billy Graham said the fight presented an opportunity for Hatton to etch his name in boxing history.

"He set out to become the undisputed champion of the world and that's what he did," he said.

"Now we've got a chance to go against the man who's generally regarded as the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world. You know it doesn't get any better than that."

The bout promises to be a mouth-watering contest with both boxers undefeated in their professional careers.

Five-weight champion Mayweather is expected to put his WBC welterweight title on the line against Hatton on December 8 in Las Vegas.

At this point, i think both of them would fok Floyd real bad. As much as I hate to say this, at 40 he's not the same any more.
