floyd wanted canelo at 147!!! after team canelo told floyd to kick rocks, floyd then offer 150. canelo said no to that as well, so they agreed on 152.

The 27-year-old Alvarez is thankful for the experience he gained against Mayweather and believes he is a much better fighter than when he lost a majority decision to the undefeated five-division champion in September 2013.

You fought Mayweather on his way down and still lost. Mayweather is more skilled, faster, better defence, and a higher ring IQ. I hate arrogant fighters. I hate the attitude you and Dela Hoya bring to the sport. Nothing but envy and jealousy for other boxers and promoters.

I truly believe he learnt a lot from that fight. He takes his time now and processes things before executing his game plan.

And I personally thought he lost to Jacobs and will avoid the rematch at all cause.

          What's your take?
In all fairness, I wanted to predict the GGG vs Nelo fight and watched again Saul vs JCC Jr then I rewatched that GGG vs Jacobs fight and I disagree with Jacobs winning.

Jacobs did well if not better than triple IF we avoid the fact that he blocked GGG's jab all night with his mouth wich ended bloodied.

Jacobs had the most impressive shots but he got controlled and outpointed during the whole fight.

Still GGG won in a boring, unimpressive fashion and his stock has fallen for any of us.

The guy who will win will be the guy controlling both pace and distance.

Canelo did well versus Chavez jr but Chavez was a dead man, yet he couldn't hurt him.

I think Golovkin will have a stronger presence than Chavez in the ring and will win the jab battle, then will see how Nelo adjust.

Canelo builds his performance behing a jab dominance, he won't be able to build it versus GGG. I trully believe GGG has the best jab.

I don't know if Canelo will be able to reduce the distance versus GGG to land his money punches, again, Nelo uses his jab to reduce the distance. Nelo is also himself a methodical fighter.

But I don't know, Nelo has the better defense, but sometimes he forgot to move his head and get hit too much.

I honnestly believe Jacobs is a much bigger challenge than Chavez jr and so I was more impressed by GGG at the end of the day.

If you're that 160 mexican killer you should stop a guy like Chavez who seems to be a shot fighter.
          At least hurt him.

If he couldn't hurt Chavez I don't see why he's supposed to hurt GGG. GGG will be defensive just like in the Lemieux and Jacobs fight.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still giving Nelo a shot.

I'm still baffled how confident Canelo's fans are that he'll beat Golovkin. Canelo looked good against fighters he's supposed to look good against. He struggled against Trout and Lara. He did well against Cotto but he'd been shot since Margarito 1. Jacobs boxing skills have been underrated since Pirog. Canelo is not Jacobs.
Your right Canelo actually has a chin... Did you see the look on Mora's face?? He looked like he just won the lottery!!!

Look MA!!! I FINALLY Did it !!! We going to sizzler tonite..

Canelo team were still learning at that time, Canelo openly on video said "I can make 150", and he only said that to get that fight. He was held to that and they both settled for 152 in the end. At the end of the day Canelo make the concession to make that fight happen and I respect him for that.

yeah, this was in response to a previous post that stated that the experience Canelo had with Floyd helped him to beat Chavez. I was saying that basically any version of Canelo would've beaten the Chavez jr I saw in the ring in May.

I don't see why you're constantly bad mouthing Jacobs. The guy has been in with Pirog, Quillin and Golovkin. He beat the piss out of Mora. Twice. He has beaten some weak competition but he's never been afraid to be tested.
