regardless, Mr "anyone from 154-168" should have negotiated with two midgets who happened to be his best possible paydays
they have been LYING to 97,000 people
Ward could of BURIED him... If they MET??? And after the meeting
GGG STFU!!! Forever on it
I'm 50/50 on the Canelo fight??? I have no TKO round 1 like his clown posse does..My $$$$$$ is on the over. We've all seen this sht for before even our time. And before even their time??

You can be mad because he stalled out GGG, and I get that, but the young man is definitely NOT a b*tch! I'm mad at GGG for curving Andre Ward, and a lot of the hypocrisy that comes out of the mouths of he and his team, but he is definitely NOT a bit*h! Lastly, Charlo has absolutely nothing to do why Canelo has beef with the WBC! That started when he dumped the belt instead of fighting GGG. Canelo won't fight Charlo because Oscar sued Al Haymon!

Think about what happened before Canelo vacated and join up the dots:
The WBC give permission for Canelo to make a voluntary defence against Khan before defending against GGG ... providing GGG agrees. GGG does agree.
After Canelo beats Khan, Jose Sulaiman comes out with a statement saying that the WBC will allow further interim fights before ordering the mandatory defence of their MW belt .... providing both sides agree. GGG does not agree and says he wants to fight Canelo next.
The WBC order Canelo to defend against GGG and give them 15 days to reach a deal - a deadline which certainly would have been extended if good faith negotiations for an immediate fight had begun. The WBC wanted this defence to take place. There was a lot of money in it for them.
Canelo vacates his title.
After the dots are joined, the picture is clear. Canelo - or rather, Oscar De la Hoya - wanted Golovkin to agree to challenge Canelo for the WBC title on Mexican Independance Day 2017, not 2016. Sulaiman would have allowed this, but GGG wouldn't agree to it, so Canelo handed back his belt.Last edited by kafkod; 08-08-2017, 11:23 PM.

Team Bullshht ran around for FOUR YEARS saying they could beat anyone from 154-168
then..... they totally refused to negotiate on weight with two smaller SUPERSTARS
Golovkin said..... " this is not respect to boxing, the middleweight division is 160 "..... and he totally refused to drop 1 single pound for Cotto/Canelo
but..... he was more than happy to rack up a defence against the JMW Gabe Rosado, at 158..... in fact, they OFFERED that catchweight but Rosado refused
you can spin that however you want
within boxing, since Pacquiao killed a superfight by refusing random blood tests back in 2010..... the most bizarre incident that I have witnessed is..... a supposed killer who can beat anyone from 154-168 totally refusing to negotiate on weight with two SUPERSTARS who just so happened to be his two best paydays
that did not make sense
the reasons they gave to avoid Cotto/Canelo, simply did not make any sense at all..... as they proved with Rosado
and the reasons they gave to avoid Mora, Lara, Charlo..... did not make any sense either..... as they proved with Adama, Monroe, and Heiland..... who Sanchez thinks has proven himself, unlike Charlo
all I am saying, and all I have ever said.....
* boxing is all about matchmaking
* matchmaking is all about styles
* Team Golovkin are all about risk/reward, and Gennady is one of the most "well-managed" fighters in the game
that does not mean he aint a very good fighter
come on man..... there is no reason whatsoever why the guy who can beat anyone from 154-168 could not have fought Cotto, Canelo, Mora, Lara, Charlo..... he should have fought all of those guys, instead of guys who were worse..... just because those guys would be "available" during the fight

Golovkin got booed by the fired up crowd at T-Mobile Arena already , it was very cool of the fans to do so, he more then deserves it.
Can't wait till CANELO outboxes Golovkin and Knocks him out cold , so the crowd at the T-Mobil Arena can boo Golovkin again after he regains consciousness.
R.I.P. to The Big Bum Show
