We are talking about last year not this year. Again funny you say it was Golovkin's fault they didn't fight last year when they are doing the exact fight he wanted this year. SMH, just dumb.

Now lets see what you, your team & the simple minded fans will say when its time for you to face Jermall Charlo & we all know Jacobs beat you so when is that rematch happening??

No we don't all know that. Be serious. You and one of your friends, plus Danny Jacobs and Andre Rozier doesn't equal a majority. The result wasn't even close to being a robbery. It was a tough close fight, but GGG outlanded Jacobs, controlled the fight with his jab, and landed the only knockdown. And I don't remember the exact number on this but I believe something like 18 out of 20 sports writers ringside who were polled had GGG winning. I thought Jacobs looked great, put up a tough fight, but he did look to me like he was fighting to finish the fight without getting knocked out. He wasn't aggressive enough to give himself a chance to win. Because of the fact he was tentative he allowed GGG to control the fight with his jab, allowed GGG to Outland him. And like I mentioned earlier, him suffering the only knockdown in the fight didn't help his cause either. All in all it seems that 90% of rational boxing fans agreed GGG won a close fight. Of course Jacobs thought he won, you usually expect a fighter to say they thought they won when it's a close fight. But Jacobs tainted his own fight scoring skills a bit when he said publicly that he had Broner winning against Garcia lol

        kafkod.....

when the midget SUPERSTARS Cotto and Canelo asked Mr "anyone from 154-168" for a catchweight.....

Isn't it amazing that Canelo is fighting at 160 right now. Is there any doubt that he could have last year quite easily? But you want to blame Golovkin for wanting the fight for the MW title at 160. Because of that he was to blame for the fight not happening last year not the guy coming up with some BS excuse. Which by the way was DLH in my opinion and not Canelo. That is beyond idiotic.

..... why did Golovkin offer Gabe "easy-meat" Rosado a cw ?

The only thing Cotto asked Golovkin for was permission to fight Canelo instead of him.

The only thing Canelo asked Golovkin for was permission to fight Khan instead of him then at least one more interim fight after that ...

Those are facts. And you can post as many gifs and emojis as you like ... the facts won't change.

Pretty clear after only a few post dealing w/this clown that he is as dumb as rocks. Unfortunately another product of the education system.

His whole basis for anything is Golovkin said in 2012 he would fight anyone from 154lbs to 168lbs. To this moron this meant anything but Golovkin going up and down in weight since then meant he was running scared.

You point out to the dolt that Canelo is in fact fighting right now at 160 for the MW title and he ignores it. He wants to blame Golovkin for this fight not happening earlier no matter what. I can tell you even among many Mexicans (both here and in Mexico) that Canelo took a serious hit when he didn't fight Golovkin last year. People knew this was because of Canelo/DLH not Golovkin.

You echoed my thoughts exactly. I saw that too about the sports writers at ringside but I haven't been able to track it down. I was able to track down LA Times, USA Today, AP and ESPN who had Golovkin. I know it was overwhelmingly for Golovkin and the two who didn't might have had it a draw (CBS did).

Miguel Cotto Warns That It's Catch-Weight or No Fight.....
Cotto was asked about the scenario of a potential opponent, like WBA/IBO champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin or otherwise, rejecting a catch-weight request.
"I had to do [a catch-weight] at this particular time and anyone who wants to fight me must accept a catch-weight or otherwise there is no fight," Cotto said.....

... explain why " respect for boxing " was a good enough reason to refuse to negotiate on weight with Cotto/Canelo..... but not a good enough reason to refuse to negotiate on weight with Rosado?
