But I do know that Curtis Stevens never fought at 154 and he did fight at 175 and 168.
So Stevens is a super compact stocky Middleweight that lifts to gain muscle mass and Mornoe Jr. fought Boone too..

Why state Stevens when the husky dwarf is bigger than Brook or Ouma?

Doesn't matter, Just don't see how he gets the win. Sure we would all find out but i think he took this fight too late.

I believe him and his team did, but am not even going to go through all this again. Am glad the fight is now taking place but they forgo a better chance at winning for more money....IMHO.

Even Brook was not much smaller really, he was actualy heavyer on fight night. Both G and Brook are naturaly junior middleweights

The offer that GGG got from Canelo last year was for a fight on Sept 16th 2017.

Which means that even if GGG had accepted it when it was first made, he wouldn't be fighting Canelo one day earlier.

Beats me why so many people at this place seem unable to get their heads around a simple fact like that.

I have a lot of respect for GGG's skills, but he had a choice of chasing Canelo and Cotto, 2 blown up Jr. Middleweights, or facing Ward @ 168. He chose to chase the smaller (bigger paychecks) guys, instead of the tougher challenge! I understand why he ducked Ward, but he's still in no position to "judge" Canelo!
Trout's no better than murray or jacobs.

And golovkin chose to chase the super fight "in his division", rather than going out of his way to make a fight no one but the hardcore crowd would care about.

It's really astonishing. "Hmm, why didnt golovkin take the ****** route? Instead he took the common sense route, it's truely mind boggling"

You dont leave a division where there are fights to be made unless you want to derail your body and thus career yo-yo'ing.

Chavez jr has said the same words. He also said: "I will punish Canelo for beating small guys"
