Dude had Loma walking into shots...image what Rigo would walk his ass into.
Marriagas a solid 126lb fighter and thats it. & Rigo would pretty much have an easy time with anyone at 126 except #1Russel and #2Valdez and those fights I see 50/50. Loma would beat everyone at 126. At 130 though there are some viscous little men there, I think Rigo could only beat Jhonny Gonzalez in the top 10, I think Loma would have his hands full with Tank and Berchelt but Id slightly favor Loma in both. Tank and Berchelt would KO Rigo. To big to strong.

My post really wasnt supposed to be to much of a dis on Rigo, just pointing out the obvious, Lomas acclimated to a bigger weight with better comp even though he hasnt fought the best, hes just at his prime weight imo. 135 would be to much to soon.

IMO you need to keep him away from you with the jab because once he gets inside you are gonna get your ass beat.
Like MOST fighters from over there....
Loma can dish it out...but he can't take it.

He has those Kovalev candy cane ribs.
Body work is the key to beating him.

      Body work and RANGE.

Russell is a poor example...no range...you can just walk right up and lay on Gary.

      Loma has no inside game
      All he does is clinch.

        You're right....Rigo is 2 weight classes below...that's too much.

If he were coming up one class his chances would be better.

Russell's problem was his foot work. He takes slow deliberate steps and only in a straight line. He doesn't move in and out movement or side to side. Lomachenko took full advantage of his limited footwork. Russell was always a step late on Lomachenko and it pretty much neutralized his hand speed advantage.

              Ok, that's a fair point.
