Get this through your heads, even his win over tiny Russell is blown out of proportion. It's a good win for Loma, but it's not a masterpiece or anything like that. He did have to think a lot in there and Russell only moves in straight lines. Go back to the Selimov fight, the most recent one if you wish, which was 5 rounds under World Series Boxing. Loma didn't win that one in my opinion. Go back to fighting limited Yasnier Toledo in the 2012 Olympics, Loma was surviving the 3rd round after being hit to the body.

Is Loma a great fighter? Absolutely, I've been watching him since 2008 and the same step around step that he does against orthodox fighter he cannot exploit against other southpaws, and especially against the guy with the best footwork in the game, Rigo.

So yeah Rigo has slowed down significantly, I believe he is 36 and to be that age as a champion at 122 must be some kind of record in boxing but let's not act like Loma will have the same type of fight that he would have against other orthodox fighters.

Good points but I do think that he beat Russel easily, he looked great in there.

I challenge that, watch the fight again! There were at least 5,6 rounds where he was frozen for entire rounds due to Russel's volume. There were moments where he looked like a surgeon and these are the moments that we remember and these were the moments in the Russell highlights but they were far and few in between. He won the fight clearly but it wasn't a domination.

Loma will not have the same advantage against Crawford, Rigo and Tank and I don't even like Tank but this step around step that he always goes back to gets cancelled against these types of fighters.

Russell had a 64 in reach. Marriaga 67 in. Salido also had a 67 in reach. Loma 65 inch reach. I think fighters with a longer reach will land on Loma more because of the way he fights.

One of the main reasons why I think Crawford and Mikey would beat him.

I don't think the reach plays a factor because Loma doesn't allow for an outside fight. He makes you fight his fight, which is on the inside. Your reach doesn't matter if your feet are slower than Loma and especially if you're an orthodox fighter who doesn't go to the body like Mikey Garcia.

Crawford will beat him just because of a very educated footwork and range control from a southpaw stance. I repeat Vasyl is great and does things that most people can't do as far as footwork but he can't do the same things against fellow southpaws.
