Dirty Sanchez has a point. I dont particularly like for guys to just skip the line and get a shot at the #1 guy without paying any dues. Charlo and his brother are great but let Jermall at least get his feet wet. Put him in with Lemieux, Jacobs, Stevens, Willie Monroe, Murray who ever. Feed him a couple live bodies and let him make some real noise so that the demand for the fight is unavoidable.

Eubank couldn't agree to a contract so they negotiated with Kell who was willing to fight. There was a market in England and they wanted to expand Golovkin's fan base internationally so it worked out for both parties.

Abel just needs to shut up. Charlo is GGG's mandatory. If GGG doesn't want to get stripped he's going to have to fight him whenever the WBC orders negotiations to start. Its that simple. Mandatory's are usually turd opponents but sometimes its the only way for top tier guys to get a shot at the belt. You gotta take the good with the bad. Charlo needs to do more to prove he's a top tier guy at 160 but he passes the eyeball test.

He was willing to take on GGG and accept the terms of the contract that was already negotiated with Chris Eubanks Jr so that GGG wouldn't have to look for a new date for a venue and an HBO television slot. Why Eddie Hearn didn't give that contract to his other guy (James DeGeale) is beyond me?

GGG shouldn't have fought Wade, even though the IBF ordered it, but he should have fought Jacobs a lot sooner than he did, even though the WBA hadn't ordered it and Danny wasn't asking for it either.

Lol I get your point, but seriously..team Golovkin never approached team brook...they were meant to be fighting Eubank jr...who flopped (as he always does) leaving Eddie Hearn with no main event.

Brook who always struggled to get big names at WW prior to ggg was the only option at that point.

If the show was a U.S show and brook had to go the America to fight him then that criticism would have been fair play...but why should he have turned down 5 million dollars
