Can't argue with anything he said.

Weird comment considering GGG was just in a close fight with Jacobs. Had GGG winning that fight but without the knockdown it could've easily went the other way imo. And that knockdown wasn't even due to some devastating punching, Jacobs was just off balance per usual.
I personally believe Pirog would've beat him but we'll never know. I doubt Canelo will.Comment

Jacobs didn't win a single measure, not punches landed, not punches landed per round, not harder punches, not punches done more damage, and not swaying the judges.
And it gets worse when you rewatch and slow the fight down, it becomes clear Jacobs flashy punches didn't land nearly as often as first seemed. Judges got it right, if anything they over played Jacobs success.
Golovkin, operating on the front foot throughout the whole fight, outlanding Jacobs with 231 punches to 175, per Compubox.
Hell, ggg outlanded him in 9 of 12 rounds, tied one
GGG did far more damage too.
It was a good fight, but one Golovkin clearly should have won.Comment

10 months later GGG became the only guy to KO Ishida with a devastating hook. Ishida had little to stop ggg.
When Pirog couldn't fight Praska took it, he isn't Pirog but had similar akward style but ggg made easy work.
GGG is now 35 fighting a prime Jacobs, much bigger to boot. GGG is long past his physical prime--hence why Canelo wanted to wait.Comment

Prob is ggg at the time of Pirog fight would have been prime. Pirog just went to war with Ishida, arguably losing the first four rounds before winning a decision. Ishida had destroyed an undefeated Kirkland, he was tough.
