    He won't retire --- yet. He's not going out with a loss. He's gaining buzz then he'll fight a scrublet to go out with a W.

      I wish him the best in retirement. He was the man at 140, his 147 resume however has one good name on it in Marquez. Called Khan out but didn't fight him. WW is hot and he wants to retire, no prob. I just won't pretend like he was one of the best at WW when all he fought was Pacquiao. Loved Tim at Jr WW though and that's what I will remember him for

        Feel that he had a few more good fights left in the tank but that's probably the best time to leave.

        Had a good career. Feel that he tried adopting a fan friendly style to his detriment. When looking at Guerreto you can see that a few fights can make all the difference in how someone's career is perceived.

          You can't be serious.

          First loss was to Bradley. Beyond that he only ever lost to B and above fighters. Took a belt off him

          * Witter
          Nobody expected Bradley to be willing to come to Witter's turf and definitely didn't expect Bradley to beat him convincingly and take his title. Same as Spence/Brook. Witter was huge at the time over the pond. Took a belt off him

          * Holt
          Former champion, took a belt off him

          * L. Peterson
          Bradley was the first to beat him and only top level fighters other than Bradley have beaten him.

          * Alexander
          Bradley was the first to beat him, took a belt off him.

          * Casamayor
          Bradley retired him, a guy who'd fought the best at the time minus Floyd and Manny.

          * Pacquiao
          At the time heralded as the second best in the world, took a belt off him. "No matter how you...cut it, slice it or weigh it, he lost to Timothy Bradley." --- Floyd

          * Marquez
          Remember, Marquez was FRESH OFF putting Manny to sleep a year prior. Dinamita is a certified Hall of Famer, and Bradley accomplished clearly what Manny failed to do over four fights and 42 rounds.

          * Vargas
          Bradley was the first to beat him, won a belt

          * Rios
          Bradley was the first to stop him - EVER - something Manny failed to do by the way

          Mind you all of that is over 4 weight classes. That alone surpasses Golovkin and Lomachenko's resumes nevermind the guys specifically. Ward's biggest success was the Super Six and Kovalev. He hasn't done jack outside of that.

            He lost to Pacquiao. JMM was way past his best. The other fighters are C and B- level. Doesn't come close to Wards resume. Like I said, you're smoking crack.

              I followed boxing before khan was even born. Perhaps you started following once khan turned pro. Can't believe that guy still has supporters like you. Especially after the joke of a career he's had for the past 6 yrs. To each his own I guess.

                  I agree with your entire argument for Bradley but can't get on board with the ward statement. You say the super 6 as if it isn't a big deal. That tournament consisted of 5 credible wins. Add, Kovalev, Dawson, and even the Barrera win is starting to look better and better and you arguably have a top 3 resume of any active boxer today.

                      He signed with Top Rank to chase the Pacquiao fight, a harder fight with a greater reward, instead. It worked out just fine for him.
