Ive been a Bradley fan since he beat Junior in the UK n always rooted for him in his fights except vs Rios i dont remember,

i remember the good run he had, Holt, Cherry, Nate.... then undefeated boxers Abregu, Lamont, n Alexander those fights were hyped a bit n knowing Bradley those fights were all toss ups at the time with the odds against him but he took there 0's easily

Then was the next phase were he fought Pacquiao n he got the decision, i thought he lost decisively but not as bad as HBO scored, i can see why Bradley felt he won, from there he wasnt the same he lost the fans respect n it became a proving game again for him, he gave an epic fight vs Provo the most heart ive ever seen display by fighters that nigjt was suppossed to be a nice boxing display by Bradley but he felt he had something to prove and went to war vs Provo amazing fight top 5 one of my favorites

He continue fighting some of the best, he schooled Marquez an ATG, beat Diego Chavez but got a draw out of it lol, his last two wins are impressive Vargas was undefeated i think he schooled the young bigger fighter, he made Rios take a knee, retire n cry in the same night with body punches, id like for him to retire with a win and not that loss vs Pacquiao, either way cant forget his great career, he found ways to win in his matches no matter the opponents style, his only losses were to the ATG Manny Pacquiao no shame in that

First seeing this I thought this was premature and that surely he still had something left to give, but then with the kind of fights he's had, including a trio of big Pacquiao paydays, he's probably banked away more than enough to let him live comfortably for the rest of his life so long as he spends responsibly, and he seems the responsible type. Fair play to him, I've always liked him and I hope retirement treats him well.

IBHOF letting in fighters like Gatti and McGuigan was a travesty because of times like these. Now we have to see the hypocrisy and inconsistency of not letting Bradley in, or the consistency of letting Bradley in. Letting Bradley in would be consistent with the mediocrity they let in. Not letting him in would be inconsistent and kinda just show that they pick and choose whoever they want under whatever criteria they want.

IBHOF needs to adapt criterias like baseball. I already heard the reasoning behind why mediocre boxers get in, funding and keeping the IBHOF going. But do you keep something going at the cost of making it a Hall of Mediocre, Good, and Great fighters? Because that's what the hall is.

Tim Bradley was involved in some wars as a fighter the one fight I'll never forget is the fight with Ruslan Provodnikov. That was one of the craziest fights I've seen lol That fight showed the heart of a champion!! Enjoy retirement thanks for the memories!!

                  Damn everyone's retiring.

Bradley had a top notch career. I became a fan when he came out of nowhere and took Witter's strap in England. The same Witter that Hatton wanted no part of. He went on to accomplish a lot more. He took Peterson and Alexander's zeroes. Unified 140 twice. Retired Casamayor. Got up off the canvas multiple times to beat Holt and Provodnikov. Fought Pacquiao three times. Beat Marquez. I expect him to be enshrined in the IBHOF one day.

Admittedly my fandom dimmed a but when he signed with Top Rank and started shilling for Arum during the height of the Mayweather-Pacquiao wars but it proved to be the correct decision. 4 PPV fights vs. Pacquiao and Marquez made him rich. The Provodnikov fight ensured he'll be remembered. Add two more WW titles to boot and he had himself a full journey at two weight classes.

As with every fighter I wish he would have fought a couple names like Khan-140, Mayweather-147, and Cotto-154. I was particularly interested in Cotto at 154 because Tim spent time at that weight class in the amateurs. But it wasn't mean to be. For me I will remember Tim for what he did do in the ring, which was plenty. A well-rounded career. Happy trails.

The chances of him getting in are slim at best he'll be on the same ballot as Klitschko and possibly Mayweather, Pacquiao, Cotto if their last fight is this year.

Smart man: Time with children is limited since they grow up so fast.

Thanks for the great memories, champ!
