It shows you guys how great of a fighter Mayweather is because he's dominated top competition for 20 years
Floyd started fighting in 1996 and has had at least 4 retirements alone. I didn't know a man can dominate a sport while being retired. Oh, wait, I think I get it. If a man retires and desn't fight for 2 1/2 years and then comes back like he never retired because he's undefeated I guess that means he was still dominating over his retirement because he's still, you know, undefeated. Makes sense
and here's a guy who after facing top guys for 9 years is like "I'm done"
Didn't Floyd retire in 2007 after fighting for 11 years and saying he had nothing left to prove in boxing while Margarito, Williams, Cotto was waiting in the shadows. Not even counting when Martinez/Lara offered to fight him at 154. I'm sure you had no problem with Floyd retiring in 2007.
"win a few belts, make a few million, and then i'm set for the rest of my life".
As for his career, it was good no doubt, but he did have a few controversial decisions (Pacquiao, Marquez, Provodnikov) it's not like he just beat these guys clearlyLast edited by Chollo Vista; 08-06-2017, 06:28 PM.

Neither was Ricky Hatton or Marquez when FMJ fought them. That never stopped you from praising those victories, correct? Why so many double standards and inconsistencies?
And so you know, Provodnikov was the #3 WBO Welterweight when he fought Bradley.
What ranking was Hatton and Marquez at 147 when Floyd fought them?
FMJ has arguable wins over Castillo, DLH and Maidana. I know of many people who think FMJ lost several of those fights.
FMJ thought he could've lost to DLH. Why do you think his knees buckled and he start crying when they said he won?
The other day you were talking about rankings and belts while mentioning Guerrero, Ortiz, Maidana, etc. Tim Bradly beat 14 champions and 8 Top 10 Ring opponents. Why do you defend Mayweather over Maidana, but hate on Bradly for beating undefeated Devon Alexander who easily beat Maidana? Why do you hate on Bradley's win over Peterson, but love FMJ's win over Ortiz when Peterson kicked Ortiz' ass way before Floyd did?
Ain't nothing arguable about beating 14 champions in 9 years. How many champions did FMJ beat from 2007-2015? Pretty sure it wasn't 14 champions.
Irrelevant anyway because he doesn't have a win over Campbell.
Don't know what Floyd has to do with anything. I didn't mention anything about Marquez or Hatton wins.
Providnikov was unranked at 147. Not in the top 10.
Bradley clearly lost to Pacquaio. Mayweather had either way fights with Castillo and Maidana.
I'm not hating on no one. Didn't mention Peterson or Alexander.
What do you mean by "champions"? Who are these 14 champions Bradley beat? Were they current champions or what? You sound confused.

Why are you guys always lying about this flawed stat?

Yeah, top guys with no retirements.

Exactly what Floyd said in 2007; verbatim.
Floyd had arguable wins over DLH, Castillo and Maidana. I thought Floyd beat Pac, but I know of many people that thought Pac deserved the nod. What's your point?
1. Money
2. Mcgregor calling him out.
Both are ridiculous excuses because Floyd said the following.........
1. I don’t need boxing. I’m not in it for the money. It’s about legacy.
2. Many legitimate boxers called Floyd out over the years and that didn't mean anything, they never got the fight. Mcgregor called him out and Floyd agrees to fight an MMA fighter with an 0-0 record.

I can't believe some of the thing people are posting on this thread. Look, you don't have to be a fan of Bradley, I never really was, but I recognized the talent and his success during his career.
Yeah this announcement caught be by surprise. He's not really old and tbh, I thought he had a couple of more years left, but he did suffer massive damage in the Provodnikov fight, so it's understandable.
Massive heart and an overall good guy. Had great success in the ring, only losing to Pac, who was a top P4P fighter for years.
Unfortunately, I don't know if he had enough time in the ring to be considered HOF. I'm on the fence of if he's HOF or not. Maybe, because he did accomplish a lot in that amount of time.

When you praise victories over Maidana and Ortiz, but don't think much of victories over prime undefeated Alexander and Peterson; yeah that's biased hating.

I lost count how many times Martinez, Lara, Margarito, Cotto, Thurman, Williams, Porter and many other guys have called Floyd out. But when Hatton called Floyd out, Floyd was quick to come out of retirement. When Connor called Floyd out, he was quick to come out of retirement.

How a Floyd fan can honestly blame Bradley for ducking and dodging fighters and than call Floyd TBE Is beyond comprehension.

^You two little ****tards are trying desperately to turn this into a Floyd hate thread.
Take your agenda somewhere else. Floyd is a lock for the Hall of Fame and has nothing to do with this, the thread is about Tim Bradley so stay on topic.

What I did was present rankings, stats and champions to a guy (IronDan) that said Bradley didn't deserve to be in the HOF.
How does Floyd come into play here? When talking about FMJ, Dan is quick to present rankings, belts and champions as criteria. When talking about Bradley that same criteria no longer counts
