The excuse of the Klitschko's not being popular in America or other areas outside of Europe because they weren't black or American is B.S.

If the Klitschko's fought like a giant Golovkin or had the skills of Loma at that weight. Just using this as an example of them being more entertaining and not as robotic and boring they would have been popular. And the Klitschko's suffered from a lack of depth, competition and talent in the division. It was the worst era in Heavyweight history. You had the Klitschko's and no one else. Unfortunately for them.

Using race or nationality is a B.S. copout.

People worldwide are excited now about the Heavyweights because they are fun to watch. The division has more depth, talent and competition than the Klitschko era.

I mean it's not the 90's, but it's better than the Klitschko era. That is what people are excited about.

It's a bit of both: Thin, dull competition during the majority of their reign, but also an often boring fighting style on the part of Wlad.

Makes you wonder how Vitali/Wlad versus Joshua, Wilder, and Fury would have been during their primes. I still think Vitali and Wlad would have been favorites, but fights can be a lot different if you don't have a huge height and reach advantage.

Everyone looked liked kids compared to Wlad in that era. Glad he's gone.

you are full of s h it and both brothers had close to the highest KO ratio at almost 80%. Vlad had 69 fights do you think those 2 bums PED Joshua and wilder will make it that far? being you must have a black face which makes you hate the Klit bros you must think very highly of dancing running hugging payweather and ward and then throw in Ali who I liked with his rope a dope dancing and holding

you are full of s h it and you know it race played a big factor plus the Klit bros were not rapists cannibals drug addicts wife beaters so they had trouble making it in our degenerate society

No you're full of ****, don't bring race into it.

The common denominator for the Klitschko's was #1 it was only them and no one else. Their era was void of depth, talent and competition.

And #2 they were boring with their stand up stiff, robotic style of boxing. Particularly Wladimir. Granted he fought a hell of a fight against Joshua and I give him respect for that. He went out in a good way. But ever since he got knocked out by a golfer back in 2003, he adopted that boring jab and grab ****, that grabbing and leaning on **** was horrendous to watch. That leaning on people **** was boring as ****.

This is why they weren't as popular in the U.S. and the rest of the world outside of europe, not because of race.

They would have been more known and watchable if they had that guy or those guys to fight during their era and if they fought in a more fan pleasing style.

If they fought during the Tyson, Holyfield, Lewis era they would have been more regarded. But unfortunately for them they fought in an era where it was only them and no one else. Those are just the facts.

No its not better what do we have coming up? Parker vs Hughie Fury, well that is nothing short of a completely **** fight nobody cares for or asked for or even wants to see particularly.
What we going to get years of Joshua and Windmiller fighting your Big ******* Miller and Gerald Washingtons of the world?
Years of them not fighting each other or Ortiz whilst we watch them take on a constant string of 300lb galoots who lose the snap on their punches after a whole round of uneventful action.

Why would it be better? We had two genuine top HWs with skills, always in amazing shape that fought nothing but the best available opposition. They was nothing but great for boxing in and outside the ring.
