HW in a better place? No, I don't think so. The heavies are too slow, fat, lethargic, sloppy and full of huggers/wrestlers and clinchers. To put it plainly, Heavyweights are boring. They don't have the guile, agility, or art-esque abilities of the lower weight classes. Mike Tyson was the only one that made Heavyweights interesting, for me at least. And another big problem the Heavyweight division has is the weight disparity between opponents, where one fighter can outweigh his opponent by freaking 50+ pounds. That weight disparity was the main reason why the Klit Bros were so dominant for so long, they were simply too big for their undersized competition. And until Boxing fixes that weight issue, Heavyweight will continue to stagnate. end rant

Both Klits made their millions in boxing fairly and with honor

Both Klit borthers were class acts who fought hard and were respectful out of the ring. Hard to find anything wrong with these two intelligent articulate classy gentleman with zero tattoos and a sense of honor. Boxing will miss the Klitchkos.

Them retiring wasn't the answer, its the fighters that came along after them that made the HW division more exciting.

The division is still the same, with or without them. Still the weakest era of heavyweights, a bunch of pretenders and duckers.

yes the Klit bros did kill the HW division by killing the fighters. in the history of boxing there never was or will be guys like them who destroyed generations of HW's for over a decade and the few losses they had were savagely avenged in the rematch to where afterwards the fighters careers were ruined or they retired
