He was certainly a bigger star, one of the pioneers of boxing, bringing it into the 20th century and a brutal ,entertaining fighter...but can you explain if his world title reign was longer? If he had as many defences? If he faced better opposition? How long his championship level career lasted?

Heck, he would barely be a cw by todays standards.

Of course, Jack Dempsey was the heavyweight champ for 8 years in an era where you had to literally train 24/7 as you'd be fighting 5 fights in a month or more so your more susceptible to getting injured or fatigue and lose!

At 187 pounds he regularly beat much much larger men like they were his son!

His technique was ahead of his time and he was just as defined with straight punches as Wlad!

And yes there were times he had fought within a 2 month span which is unheard of in today's world as a championship caliber fighter!
