BOTH Klitschkos fought EVERYONE who would step into the ring with them!

What kind of FK head are you to put down a fighter who ruled for 10 years, and fought EVERYONE who was available and willing to fight??

    WTF more can you ask of a fighter you a s s h o l e??

    You must be a true p u s s y b i t c h in life.

Now go change your tampon, and then hit the gym and try to make something of YOURSELF so you won't be a p u s s y b i t c h all your life.
Since you are on this topic.....What do you think about Floyd Mayweather??

    • Kinda reminds me of the decision Lennox Lewis made to retire instead of taking the Vitali rematch.

Only difference is Lewis beat Vitali and Wladimir is leaving after a loss.

Would've liked to have seen a rematch, but it makes sense.

Wlad's had a good career, probably a smart time to walk away.

Lennox would have beaten Vitali again and then Wlad by KO also. The Klits were big not great boxers.

Mike vs wlad is interesting. As a style match up wlad is all wrong for Tyson but if he can turn it into a fight on the inside it's lights out for WK
A prime Tyson 1989 probably KO's Wlad within 3 rounds. Wlad beats Tyson after Mike got out of Prison.

Weak Wlad took the easy road out of a mediocre career. Fury whipped the overrated Wlad. Joshua KO'd the weak jaw Wlad. Now Wlad runs away from redemption and retires out of fear with cowardice and a lack of guts. Commies always have done that run away when it gets tough.

So he faced and defeated future hall of famers? He gave the crowds action packed fights? He was a boring fighter who used his size. Ffs he's got 5 loses, 4 by knockout to guys like Brewster, purity & sanders... do you even know who those guys are? Contenders at best. He had no heart. Klitchscko fights are some of the most boring in history.

Name 1 hall of famer Wlad beat...

                I'll wait...

And yes I am the minority, one of the few people on this forum who has actually stepped into the ring and one of the few people that actually know about boxing.

Look at what you have now...Outside of maybe 3 fighters they are absolute bums.

Wlad took on anyone and everyone and reduced them to nothing with his often sleep inducing style, not his fault though.

It was on his opponents to have the strength to brake the clinches and work him inside but no one could ever do it.

Now back to my first point...

Wlad made the division weak because he reduced his opponents to nothing.

Was Sam Peter a bad fighter? Sam Peter was the next Ike, the next Tyson when he was around, people weren't giving Wlad a chance against him.

Bring that Peter into today's division and he starches all of these guys. I as a Wlad fan was very skeptical of Wlad taking Peter out at the time.

Was Lamon Brewster a bad fighter? He would take out most of today's guys as well.

Sanders would take out Wilder in 1.

Take the Klitschko's out of the picture and the 2000s would have been full of 90s style slugfests and no one would be complaining.

The division had plenty of skilled, Olympian caliber fighters rendered zeros against Wlad.

How was the era weak? How were previous eras so great? Who are all these outstanding guys Tyson fought?

The sport used to be more popular back in the day, it was 95% American fighters so everyone talks about the old days like it was filled with these mega fighters........it's just not so.

The sport has changed, there are more and more guys with extensive amateur careers and Olympic pedigree. More and more guys are in boxing are full blown pros, not part timers who work the docs by day and fight Ali by night.

The only people that talk about the era being weak or mostly Americans for whom it must be weak because of the influx of all these to them foreigners.
Well first off, there's no way in hell I'm a read all of that. Secondly, you trying to elevate the era of heavyweight boxing that Wladimir competed in is about as big a reach as I've ever seen. Wladimir's reign didn't go mostly ignored because he was receiving the Roy Jones or Floyd Mayweather treatment. We're they beat excellent fighters in a manner that made them appear mediocre. Unlike Jones and Mayweather. We knew Wladimir could be beaten by mediocre fighters. We have it on film. So fair or not, it gave the impression that the guys he was fighting were less than mediocre.

Also, if these guys he was fighting were so good. Why didn't any of them manage to dominate everyone else outside of the Klitschkos? You usually have a top guy in the division. And most of the time, you have someone that comes along and dominates other top guys in the division to create intrigue that he could unseat the top guy. Nobody managed to create that level of intrigue. What's Wladimir's signature win? Maybe nobody was intrigued by his opponents because they had been beaten by guys not as good as Wlad prior to fighting him. And even with the guys he did hand their first career lost. None of them have done anything relevant sense.

Great fighters have a way of showing that they're great. Even if they're not the best of their era. Lennox Lewis is clearly the best heavyweight of his era. But his era included other great fighters like Holyfield, Tyson, and Bowe. None of them could beat Lewis. But they all managed to have excellent careers outside of coming up short against the best of his era.
