I'm not sure why people think Conor is a complete scrub. He's not going to beat Floyd or even come close, but to think he couldn't be competitive with a guy like Paulie who would probably be a fringe top 20 guy at WW is a stretch.

Conor has been boxing for 15 years. A lot of pro sparring partners have a pretty weak/average record, and they give champs good work.

Floyd has been inactive also, but Floyd has not shown signs in any of his last few fights of being "shot", or even close to it.
