I like Charlo's addition at 160.. That said, I don't think anyone would avoid fighting him.. Jacobs & GGG would beat him but Canelo might struggle with the style.. Charlo is the WBC mandatory iirc, so he will get a shot at the GGG if he wins in Sep..

Charlo beats Jacobs (just a better "scrapper" and Danny likes to **** w/ certain guys) and Canelo (too small imo for the Jacobs and Charlo type fighters). I'd love to see the GGG fight though.

even more disgusting is the bum he faced was damaged goods allowed to enter the ring with only 1 good leg. His opponent couldn't even walk up steps during the weigh in and tried to enter the ring with a wrap over his bum knee and was told to take it off. So clearly he was injured BEFORE the fight. Now this clown wants to bump his chest like he did something when he is a mandatory under the most shady circumstances. blatantly ducking lara and jacobs guys in his own stable fights that should be easy to make guys that Canelo and GGG already stepped up and fought. Jacobs is free why ain't he calling him out to fight?

This is like Spence calling out Thurman pre Kell Brook fight.
Good luck with getting GGG and Canelo anytime soon.
It's a waste of saliva at this point.
You're better off calling out Jacobs who is within easy reach.

I actually favor Danny to win based on what I saw in GGG fight.. He was quick with his combos, quick on his feet too.. I like Jermall's counter punches but Danny packs a bigger punch at 160 than Charlo is used to.. They are both Haymon guys, so that fight would be easy to make..

Charlo is good. But is he THAT good? Let's see him against a guy like DEREVYANCHENKO first..

At least Lara called out Jacobs/Quillin even he didn't fight the winner.
This guy Charlo can't even mention Jacobs as if he doesn't exist.

He should be in line to fight Golovkin if he beats Canelo. I don't see why he would. He could fight Brian Vera next or any random bum and bide his time till his title shot...

Yes, most superstars have a certain charisma and Charlo has the Charisma of a dead horse. De La Hoya, Sugar Ray Leonard, and others have Charisma. I think with GGG leaving the sport and Canelo and others, Charlo stands a good chance of ruling but he needs to connect with fans instead of always having a chip on his shoulder. He may not be an Oscar or a Ray Leonard, but he can work on the personality and will need to. Or, he will play the Tyson/Floyd type persona and go down that route.
