all wrong jason, simple answer is; the road to greatness is through a mexican. Canelo is going to do what all the brothers failed to do in september, maybe charlo can get canelos leftovers in ggg and fight for the messican moco green belt.

He should fight Daniel Jacobs on October 14th at Barclays Center, or shut up.

I really like this fight. I think their styles match up well. It's a fight that would make Charlo a legitimate threat at 160 should he win. For Jacobs, it would be a solid win off the heels of a competitive loss to GGG and gets him back in the mix.

Charlo needs to step up his level of competition and fight opponents with a pulse. I've been watching both these brothers fight and they are very good boxers. But they haven't fought much better than gatekeeper opposition. A fight with DJ, Lemieux, or any upper tier fight would be a good test to see how good Charlo really is. Win a few of those and he will get his shot at the top man. Until then, he has to earn that fight. Which he hasn't done yet. He on his way so far but still a ways to go before a Canelo or GGg fight presents itself.

Lemieux...this is another good fight for Charlo, and probably the most exciting matchup of all the name fighters at 160.
