What Floyd Mayweather wants is not always what he gets. The Nevada State Athletic Commission has put the brakes on his plan to change the glove size for his upcoming showdown with UFC superstar Conor McGregor. The two fighters are set to collide at the junior middleweight limit of 154-pounds - which under the Nevada rules would call for 10-ounce gloves. McGregor claimed in several interviews that Mayweather intentionally wanted the junior middleweight limit, because 10-ounce gloves are used above the welterweight class.
