Hahahaha hahahaha please tell me your speaking sarcastically... This fight is getting much more buzz and attention than all upcoming matches, including the canelo vs ggg...which sucks but it's the truth

Absolutely. You have to admire McGregor's gusto, but it's the majority ego in it that is just making this fight harder and harder for him. It'll be over in a few weeks and we won't even hear about it anymore a week after.

I doubt there will be a KO, but those gloves will benefit Mayweather more than it will benefit the guy who could not tell the difference

          no disrespect intended

Oscar said it best the other day, "I couldn't hit Floyd in my prime and you think this guy can touch him?!" Floyd is going to sneak 2 oz harder punches in there all day and it could end earlier. I'm not biased here. I just don't want my ego on a message board to take over lol. I also heard that the Paulie and Conor sparring having to be broken up by Cortez was not only because it was getting nasty, but because Paulie was owning him more often than not and McGregor was pretty angry. Paulie is no Floyd. We all know what this fight is. The bookies are trying to make it look competitive lowering Mayweather's odds. You can make twice as much on Mayweather now as when the fight was announced and he's still a huge favorite.

I was discussing this fight with some workmates last week. One of them said that if it was boxing rules, but MMA gloves, Conor would KO Floyd in the first round. I disagreed with him on that, because to me, it seems obvious that gloves which cause more damage are going to benifit the guy who lands more punches, and that's going to be Floyd.

Seems like a backlash is coming. People aren't ******. The ones that tells if this is a fight worth watching are the real boxing fans. They are the foundation that convinces casuals if this is worth the pay. I guess Floyd is pulling all the strings to sell this fight knowing too damn well this is a mismatch.

Action speaks louder than words. We all know it's already signed on paper it's going to be 10oz gloves, that's the mandatory gloves for 154 division fight. Unless, they turn this into an exhibition then 8oz can be done. And off course we know that's not what Floyd wants. He wants this to be a sanctioned fight and not an exhibition.

If he really is serious about what he just said, then bare knuckles is the way to go.

Exactly. He's only doing this coz the hype is dwindling. Most people see this a mismatch. I great fight is only good when it's going to be a competitive fight. This is not one of them. Floyd needs to make it look worth the while of the viewers. He really has to sacrifice something to sell this fight. And if he really is serious about making this a competitive fight, and give conor his handicaps. Then show a new contract, better yet add a smaller ring, mma gloves, McGregor's choice of referee etc etc..

The thing is, as you said everything has been signed. All this talk is BS. Floyd knows he can't give McGregor a chance to land that lucky punch. It will be embarrassing to him and the nail in the coffin if Floyd loses to a novice boxer.

Coz he won't. It's already signed and delivered. This is just grand standing. Nothing but air.

                    Obviously, Floyd knows his power.

The thing is.. Let's see it in writing his accommodating 8oz.

I've seen McGregor's punches he has pop. The only thing stopping those pop is 10 oz gloves. Give MCGregor 8oz Reyes. I'll pay for this freek show. I don't need Paulie telling me McGregor has no knock out power. McGregor has pop. What McGregor needs is 8oz, and that will give McGregor that punchers chance to land that bomb. it's a small chance, but at least he has a small chance with that. I'll pay for this fight, if that happens. Since then there is a wild card.

Off course, I want to see it in writing. Then I'll watch this freak show fight.
