Technically within the rules of boxing it was not illegal, but on the streets where i am from? There is a term for that type of attack, hitting a man when he is not aware that he is in a fight 100%? (Floyd Mayweather Stole it! It was a Sucker punch! Any man who is honest with themselves, and has had a fight on a school yard or play-ground understands this!)...

Ortiz was KO'd by a legal punch after he intentionally head butted mayweather. And than tried hugging and kissing him over and over.

It really wasn't legal because the ref had not said to continue fighting prior to the combo that Ortiz was hit with and didn't want to own up to his mistake because Floyd owns Las Vegas.

That fight was dirty as fk from both fighters. Let's not all rewrite history, both of ya'll are right but won't give each other an inch in this argument. Floyd has been criticized for his elbows since he moved up from the 130's. Ortiz has always been a head first kind of guy who is susceptible to the uppercut much like Bradley and Porter.

But Floyd used it for separation, he wasn't hitting them with it.
