This Showtime fight was suspect.... they didn't let Heilland use a brace....? If you're saying he was fine in the media workout.. then did Heiland take a dive? There are many inconsistencies about the fight

This is also with pain killers and a taped up knee and you can clearly see he"s hurt.

Agree, totally weird and nonathletic way he moves that left leg, though better than it was in the fight.

well HBO let fighters in with braces in title bouts, why didn't Showtime? There are pro braces for competitive sports... why wasn't Heiland allowed to fight with one!!!??

Why didn't Heiland protest to the board? He would've gotten paid anyways. Instead a gag order went into play.

Some real douche stuff. I think it was scam of the year. all parties are at fault. Lost a lot of respect for Showtime because of this... real shady stuff.

yup at best the fighter went rogue and hid his injury from everyone just to collect his check and it's just plain incompetence that NOBODY noticed the injury in his physical, nobody noticed him hobbling around in the weigh in, and folks believed that his wrap over his bum knee on fight night was just a "good luck" charm. At worst and more likely is that the commission, promoter, network ect knew he was injured and either pressured him to fight or looked the other way and let him fight. But it's the commission job to prevent something like this and they either didn't do their job or they were corrupt and tried to hide this.

But they can't punish him now because that would be admitting a failure or corruption on their end. That's why everyone is now going with this BS lie that he got injured in the fight. Only in boxing
