You can put whatever price you want.

Although you have to be smart enough to only charge what people are willing to pay.

For a fight a 5am in the UK, lets say 10,000 people are happy to pay £25.00 for this fight. (Gross £250,000)

Considering it is at 5am, I think you would be lucky if you got 10% of those people to pay £100 for the fight. (Gross £100,000).

Considering the fight is in the middle of the night then they would be much smarter to price the fight lower and try and get as many people to view it as possible.

£100 especially for this shite fight.

Hearn may try con people now and again, but SKY wouldn't charge over 5 times the normal price for this fight. Hearn's comments are already pointing towards that.

SKY count on casual fans to bring the money in, and while this fight is heaven for casual fans, it will probably be poor on the night.
And a lot of the buyers already found May-Pac poor..that mix playing out (at a high price) could see those casuals turn their backs on PPV's, which would be a killer for SKY and Hearn.

Would some people still buy it? Probably. But the numbers would be well down at that price. People will decide to spend that money on a night out instead and just watch the fight the next day when it's all over facebook.

... it's only a marketing hoax, doe... they pretend to ask for £100 in order sell at £20 -- but much, much more than the Floyd-Pac PPVs...

It's on at 5am for christ's sake. Compromise for the UK/Europe market at little given one fighters from that area, and put it on at 2am UK time.

That's the only way you'll get the volume of people to buy it for anything above £25.

              Mayweather's a greedy c*nt.

Totally agree. If the US HD-ppv charge is $100 then it should be about £80. If they don't want to pay then they won't buy it!
