£100 is 135 dollars! The fight is already on at 5am in the morning in the UK so they have lost 80% of fight fans that would have watched it if it was on at prime time.. Most people just catch these 5am
fights on YouTube or *******s the next day when they wake up. Now they want to charge £100? LMAO nobody was is willing to stay up till that time for £20.

The Americans have been getting shafted for years.. The Brits aren't that ****** to let someone shaft them like that.. That fight will sell less than a thousand PPV's if it's 135 dollars.

They're obviously smarter than Americans paying insane prices for PPVs no matter the cost. Want prices more in line with UK prices? Boycott like a MF, in mass numbers. You'll see prices here in the States drop down to a respectable rate. But that will never happen. Not here in the land of 'we love out of control capitalism til we hurl'.

For a kick off, Vegas fights start around 5am in the U.K.

Secondly, a huge amount of the PPV sales over here are from casual fans.

Third, it's not a U.K. fighter.

Add it all together, and there is no way anyone is paying £100 for a PPV in the U.K. It just isn't happening.

They can charge it, but no one would buy it.

You'd get away with charging a little more for a Joshua v Klitschko fight, which would be on at a decent hour in the U.K. and would feature a home-grown fighter in a world title fight with a decent level of hype behind them. We like to support our own talent, especially in big fights, the 'Hatton' effect. Casuals lap that up and you end up with football fans etc buying PPV en masse.

But they're not so bothered about Mayweather.
