So??? One gets a new trainer or the trainer does what Floyd sr did in the Oscar vs Floyd Jr fight and refuses to train be a part of either fighters camp while they fight. This is not new in boxing it's a bogus excuse to duck fights. No reason why charlo shouldn't of fought lara. This is boxing. Tons of examples of fighters who trained together and still fought.

Charlo is very good but needs to act better with dignity to earn the respect he craves in boxing. Talent is great but character and class with dignity is nice also. Charlo could be a P4P boxer only if Charlo acts with dignity.

Yea these young black fighters come up wanting without doing.... I'm African American and to each is own but having class like a Shawn porter....soft spoken but a rough fighter. So the conflict was bigger you idiot shields didn't raise either of these guys, isn't blood to either and didn't have all his money tied to one guy or the other. Make up your minds is it the problem that they have the same trainer or that they friends who worked out together? Tons of fighters workout and train together then fight. Tons of examples of conflicts with trainers and the trainer stays with the bigger meal ticket or stays out of both camps so they can fight. But to use this as an excuse for top guys to not fight each other is the lamest duckery I've heard of. Charlo ducked lara it's that simple.

I just told you Barrera & Tapia, rios & alvarado etc. Pac was set to fight Kahn,Theres tons more that I can find like many of robert Garcias fighters. He was the IBF Champion at 154 NOT the WBC which now rankes him #2 having NEVER fought at 160 or even for the WBC before.
