Beterbiev isn't a superstar yet, but in what world is a fight featuring any of the three fighters you've mentioned a bigger attraction than Beterbiev fighting in Montreal (heck, GYM was able to do well with him in Chicago, and it seemed pretty clear that they expected to do good business with him in Miami).

Zurdo Ramirez has a fight, scheduled for about 8 weeks from now, in AZ, without a building already known.

None of the fighters mentioned still tickets anywhere yet (Ramirez in Mexico, maybe), so to simply be happy with naming fighters didn't say much

Lomachenko already has a fight set that would make such a turnaround unrealistic, Vargas is in a contractual dispute with Top Rank, and I sincerely doubt that Magdaleno goes from third fight on a poor PPV to headlining his own show (especially over a guy with name ID in boxing being anything that Magdaleno had ever seen).

Tim Bradley would work, and I believe that Verdejo is still heading to the UK for his next fight (doubt he's even a big enough name yet to leave the MSG Theater, but the my opinion)

Andre Ward just had a fight where he took home $5m+ with RocNation, is clearly the top face for RocNation Sports in boxing, and has been working in partnership with the company with no issues.

Ward's HBO deal is apparently up, but you're a fool if you think he's going to go from the position that he's in, to signing over the stretch run of his career to Top Rank.

Nice try with the story, lol.

          J. Prince/Dubin put together the best deal that they could for the fighter they represent.

In what world is moving Andre Ward to Bob Arum better than the deal that he has with RocNation, who could bring the Beterbiev fight to Oakland for ****'s sake?

Top Rank has no one at 175lbs, has no relationships with anyone that has the fighters at 175lbs, and had no relationships with anyone at cruiserweight either.

You add that he's got nothing coming his way from premium TV (doubt that Arum is paying anything out of pocket to make the numbers work, nevermind Ward's number), and you sound like you are having a great high.

Todd will step in, Todd doesn't have too many burnt bridges in boxing (I don't think that he and Oscar get along, but that's just rumor on my part), and he'll likely have the cache to move his company towards better working relationships with the other outfits.

actually magdaleno won his world title on a Pacquiao undercard and has been on UniMas several times. He's been on tv more times than beterbiev and is a champion so he would be a better choice himself
