Mayweather don't care what the press thinks. As long as he wins. If it goes 12 it will be a lopsided UD and Mayweather won't care. All he cares about is that money. That's why he signed to fight McGregor, for the money not the glory.

It's KO or bust for Floyd's reputation IMHO.

He ought to win a stoppage around Rd 10 or 11. It's a black eye on him if he can't pull it off.

McGregor going 12 clean rounds is a moral victory for him. He'll be like Pacquiao and say he thought he won regardless what goes on in the fight, etc. He'll have loads of fans to back his claims too.

crying? im not the one making threads daily about things that have nothing to do with boxing or a guy I supposedly hate so much. there is a lot of crying on here daily. my only point was that anything he does will be criticized, he outboxed manny with little offense and footwork alone and was criticized, he KOed hatton and was criticized so im sure he will be criticized either way it goes. why is Floyd such a big deal to u guys? why does he invoke so much emotion out of u all?

With all due respect to the boxing cumunity I say this; McGregor has been hit by elbows, knees and little gloves by bigger guys and has not been knocked out, it is what it is, the dude has a chin.

I don't care what anybody says, Floyd has not stopped anyone since a loooong time ago, and he's known to have fragile hands, at 40 years old he's not stopping McGregor even tho the skill difference is gonna be abismal on fight night.

Best bet out there is the same that has been working for a long time, money on the bank, Floyd beats McGregor by UD.

And yes, it won't do good for boxing but let's face it, this fight was all about money and nothin else.

By Who...Wut bigger stronger guys hit CM w/ knees & elbows?? Who? Everyone I've seen him fight was 5'6" tall & 145lbs. vs him standing at 5'9" & cutting 30lbs of weight. Except for diaz & that was a boxing match. You guys are so deluded about this kid. & how would going 12 be a stain?? Floyd has made atg fighters look ordinary & uncompetitive. This will likely be the same. & honestly, the fact that Conor doesn't know he's supposed to lose w/ probably make it more competitive. He won't dance like normal seasoned fighters dance...Which will make it awkward & dangerous slightly. But I expect superior craft and experience to take over art some point.

If McGregor survives 6 rounds against Floyd. Floyd's whole career is exposed as what it is really, and inflated fakery of a career, creating an illusion of greatness, when all it is, is a fraud fighter that took your money and made you think he is great, when in truth he's not a fighter but a runner who bores you to death with padded score cards and lame UDs playing the running/hugging game that Vegas loves to support and hype. When in truth Floyd can't ever deliver great fights in this stage of his career, since he is all about safety first coward tactics, he can never give exciting fights worth paying for. And if McGregor survives 6 rounds. That shows how lame his boxing skills are.

#If Floyd's loses to a white belter. Boxing is fuvked.

                # Floyd's legacy is fuvked.

I agree anything less than a stoppage or complete domination is an embarrassment to boxing.
Anything less is bad for his legacy.

We expect him to demolish McGregor, if he can't. It's like a 7 dan black belter can't finish a white belter. That's embarrassing.

Yes, Floyd took this fight for the money. But money isn't everything. If he fuvks up and Conor survives this fight. Even if Conor loses. Floyd's legacy is fuvked. Floyd can keep the money, but the world and the press will shyit on him for that. He will be the biggest joke in boxing and all sports. Not to mention, MMA, McGregor fans will diss Floyd like never before.

Conor wins even if he loses. The only way Conor could possibly come away with 'losing' the event is if he gets dominated and embarrassed. If it goes 12 rounds but Conor ends up getting embarrassed in the process then it won't look bad for Floyd taking him the distance. But... If Conor is competitive for 12 rounds, that would make boxing look REALLY bad. If he beast Floyd, well... It's over.
