FACEPALM. ****** LISTEN. You don't need to ko everyone to show you beat them in a dominating fashion.

Well it works for some people some of the time. Lara got his fight with Canelo. Shannon Briggs got a title shot because people loved his catch phrase. It is what it is. Going for a mandatory shot is the best way to go though.

Based upon his victories over Andy Lee and Chris Eubanks Jr at the very least he should be considered a level below the top guys. Personally, I don't think he has the power, talent or the gas tank to beat any of the top guys.

Golovkin was exposed but Danny looked great, yet GGG [correctly] won.
If you watch that fight again Jarmall, you'll notice he didn't get hit that much, considering he was the aggressor/controlling the ring the entire fight. You should know being a champ how hard it is to put constant pressure on your opponent, like a swarmer, without taking punishment or getting outboxed.
Ggg by no means win convincingly. He sc****d by with that 1

That's why i want to rank him highly but i can't. Better than most but not at the top is where saunders is.

            • You boxing "fans" know that if the Canelo vs ggg mega fight wasn't on the horizon, Jacobs would/should of gotten the decision in his fight against ggg. Why would they mess up the mega fight by giving Jacobs the win? So, now that the fight is on, Canelo will win because he is younger and sells well on ppv compared to mr 170k and the people who don't see all this are just plain dumb. No offense to anyone

                • If you are really struggling to make weight it has huge impact on chin, Jacobs came in overweight as he missed the IBF same day weigh in and his chin was fine
He knew he'd have to cheat or at least bend the rules a little to get an advantage over GGG

I like Jacobs but it's obviously not fair he missed the IBF weigh-in and GGG didn't, it was smart politics as one belt didn't matter vs the big win.

                  • Lemieux is powerful but he cheated and came in overweight vs Stevens who was a small middleweight anyway
He's improved since he lost to Rubio though but he's still much the same guy Golovkin knocked out

I believe that was vs Lemieux, I was referring to his most recent ppv which was Jacobs... if I'm not mistaken it was 170k
