The thing is - Going down in weight wouldn't make Floyd any easier to hit. Might've even been harder because obviously he was even quicker back then. Floyd's just all wrong for him, he's a counter puncher too but way more polished. Funny how people give Pacquiao credit for beating people who got their ass kicked the fight before, but don't give Floyd credit for beating a guy who was looking better than ever before. And stop crying about the weight because Floyd comes into the ring at 147 so there was hardly any difference in their actual weights. It was the way it was because of skill and styles. Floyd's just a terrible matchup for him.
It was great to see how he came back from this loss though. To this day he's the only guy we can see who actually looked even better after he fought Floyd. Everyone else got worse, he got better and had his best win after his worst loss.
