Cotto's record at WW isn't that great.

If we take Floyd's approach, Cotto should've ducked #4 Margarito to fight #1 JMW Cory Spinks... Or maybe Cotto should've just retired instead of fighting Margarito

Unfortunately losses don't really improve your resume.

What were the really impressive performances that made him a shoe in for HOF?

Would Cotto have beaten the people on Mayweathers resume? Nope. In fact he lost to 2 and was lucky to get the decision against another.

Are you talking retirements or no retirements?

If Cotto fights the 2015 version of Pac instead of 2009, I don't know.

          Cotto beat Mosley.

          Cotto beat Judah.

          Cotto DESTROYS Hatton at 147.

DLH said he didn't want to fight Cotto, but he'd rather fight Mayweather. I think that answers that question.

Could Cotto beat Guerrero? I think so

Could Cotto beat Berto? I think so

Could Cotto beat Canelo at 152? I think so.

          Could Cotto beat Victor Ortiz?

Could Cotto beat Marquez at 144, but if he came in at 146? Absolutely

Could Cotto have beaten Carlos Baldomir in 2006?

          Who am I missing?

The facts say Floyd retired when faced with his toughest obstacles.

The only times Floyd has come out of retirement was to fight a JWW, Lightweight and Connor McGregor

Damn, I wish Pac would've retired instead of fighting Marquez for a 4th time.

I wish Cotto retired or fought #1 JMW Cory Spinks instead of facing Margarito like Floyd would've done.

                  Let's see:

Sharmba Mitchell: Cotto knocks him out easy.

                  Zab Judah: Cotto already beat.

Carlos Baldomir: Cotto would destroy easy.

Oscar De La Hoya: @154 Oscar was at the end of his career, Cotto closer to his prime. Good fight. They were supposed to fight after the Margacheato fight. I would have picked Cotto to win if they did meet up after the Margacheato fight.

Ricky Hatton: Cotto would have destroyed.

Juan Manuel Marquez: Too small for Cotto.

Shane Mosley: Cotto already beat before Floyd did in a close but clear win for Cotto.

                  Victor Ortiz: Cotto beats easy

Robert Guerrero: Cotto definitely beats him

Canelo: Cotto fought at 155, but Canelo beat him, no issue with saying that. @152 who knows, Canelo may have been dehydrated if he fought Cotto at 152.

Maidana: That would have been good fun fight to watch. Both guys get hit in this one but Cotto's skills get him the win in a probable knockout or decision win.

Pacquiao: Cotto fought at a catchweight of 145. But Cotto accepted that weight. Cotto was training himself during this time, but that's on Cotto. I do believe Cotto can definitely fight better than what he showed. But it is what it is, a rematch won't happen and Pacquiao won the first fight.

Andre Berto: Cotto would have definitely destroyed Berto.

Don't forget Cotto fought the 2009 Pac and not the 2015. Big difference if you ask me

Torres ran him out of 140. After Torres they put Cotto in with two feather fists (Branco + Malignaggi) then moved him to 147.

Then Pacquiao ran him out of 147 lmao, I mean you can't make this stuff up!

Then --- and THEN, Mayweather and Trout ran him out of 154!!!
