Cotto's record at WW isn't that great.

How can you talk about Cotto's WW resume When Hatton was 1-2 at Welterweight with 2 KO losses? Luis Collazo even almost knocked his ass out.

Every time Hatton fought at 147, he was either almost stopped or stopped. Makes sense why Floyd fought him at 147 and retired

I think Cotto does some of his best fighting when he is trained by Roach. He is just fighting average fighters for easy money now and will probably retire very soon. I think Cotto fought well against Mayweather, Martinez, Geale and Canelo. He clearly lost to both Mayweather and Canelo but he fought well. All things considered I think Cotto at his best is a very good fighter but somewhat overrated by many. He is not consistent and has had some very good fights and some not very good fights.

Looks like nobody knows why he's rated so highly.

Your trolling right? Because factually you're wrong. Cherry pickers don't have resumes that include fights with guys like a prime Randall Bailey, Undefeated Ricardo Torres, Zab Judah, Shane Mosley, Antonio Margarito 2x, Joshua Clottey,Ricardo Mayorga,Manny Pacquiao,Sergio Martinez, Floyd Mayweather,Canelo Alvarez,Austin Trout... He stood toe to toe with the biggest names in boxing and gave us some unbelievable fights, those fighters named above are guys NOBODY wants to fight, dangerous fights with a high risk...he took them on all. He earned shut the hard way. Now, granted being one of the biggest and highest selling fighters of all time he did use his power to have a few big fights against slightly lesser opposition (Every big fighter does that...Manny,Floyd,Canelo etc.) but he still was a tremendous fighter and gave fans more than what they could ask for. He's also not a true middleweight, he fought as low 135 pounds....can you name me 1 middleweight, in the top 20 today that has fought at super lightweight?

He is a good fighter, but way overrated in my opinion. When I see a thread like this and see his resume I can't help but remember him storming off like a princess every time he loses so he doesn't have to do an after fight interview.

You're a ***. Your name says it all. Who cares what maricones like yourself say. Real boxing fans know Margs beat your maricon and took his soul.

Cotto never won the fight that mattered. But he did take on Mosley, Judah and fighters most avoided in Clottey and Margo. Exciting to watch but not a great fighter. Also he has skills along with power.
