He seems to be repeating the same thing in all his interviews after the sparring.

To be honest I'm suprised McGregor's team have done this. Surely he will tell Floyd how it went?

Before answering the question "Did you experience the left hand, what did you think of it?"

Paulie takes a deep breath, opens his eyes wide and says "yeah, yeah, he's got some pop in the left hand."

Paulie then essentially says Conor's going to need to work on more than just his left hand to make Mayweather worry about.

"You Look back on it, it was kind of fun"
"He's got some pop in his left hand"
        "He's effective"
"There's a method behind his madness... I'm sure it'll be entertaining and fun"

What I'm getting out of all of this is that Paulie's saying Conor's got some power as expected, but it wasn't out of this world and Paulie doesn't think he has enough power to knockout Mayweather with 1 punch and needs other options.
        That much is obvious.

Floyd has faced an array of guys who can end fights with a single punch.

        Pacquaio
        Cotto
        Canelo
        Maidana
        Oscar
        Hatton
        Corrales

The list goes on of fighters we have witnessed end fights with single punches.

Floyd's not worried about a guys power if power is all a guy brings to the table then that's no problem.

From what I've seen McGregor's main weapon is the straight left, seems to rely on that. When you only have one weapon Floyd will nulify it pretty quickly.

If I read into that interview and look at what he might be saying that's a bit less obvious,

Paulie's thoughts are that Conor's ****ed

Paulie's clearing holding back and not saying too much, my impression is that Paulie's thinking of Conor "His power is just ok, he's got a rudimentary game plan, that's not enough to beat Floyd and even if I stay in his camp like he asked there's nothing I can really teach him in 6 weeks, so he's ****ed"

So buy the fight guys, it won't be a blood bath or a war, but Paulie says it's gonna be entertaining and fun!

still floyd is going to dominate mcgregor regardless of what really went on in this sparring

McGregor could probably realistically beat Malignaggi, maybe, in a pro boxing match. Beat the currently retired Paulie, that is. Truth is nobody is sure how Conor is going to look against Mayweather, anywhere from bad to awful, with a caveat of what if Mcgregor catches Floyd with a big left lol.

                  Why would you think that?

I'd take a retired ex-world champion over someone who has never boxed every day of the week.

Seriously, as good as McGregor may be inside the octagon he has never boxed.

Some people give him way too much credit. There are amateur boxers out there that would kick his ass.

McGregor will be dropping his hands and trying to lure Floyd in and catch him, but I'm sure Floyd will be to smart to fall for those tactics. But mark my words, McGregor will be taunting Floyd all night long.
