He needs to do more and that's what they are working on. 6 weeks to go isn't much time to learn how to beat the best of this era
I'd agree that Conor would have 0 chance against a prime Floyd - he wouldn't even win a round - BUT... Floyd is 40 and hasn't fought in almost two years.. No one can tell me for certain that a Floyd at 40 with another layoff will be the same... we just saw age hit Pacquiao hard at 38... It hit Roy Jones at what 35 against Tarver? Other all time legends have had age hit them at 36 or younger including Sweet Pea, Chavez, Sugar Ray Leonard, Ali etc.

McGregor is going to try and box Mayweather and catch him on the counter.

So funny to read all those guys saying mcjoke has a chance. Come on guys, hurry up, put your money where your mouth is. Go and bet on mcjoke, tons of money, it will make even funnier to read you the next day of the "fight" night.

Funny thing is that Paulie's face after a sparring session with 16 oz gloves and head gear looks one million times worse than Pacquiao's perfectly-unmarked face after the Mayweather fight...

So-called boxing experts said that C-level boxers dominate A-level MMA guys in a boxing match... Paulie is at least a C-level.. in sparring where power is minimized Paulie should actually be more effective because of his movement...

Conor clearly marked up a C-level or better boxer with 16 ounce gloves and head gear... So the idea that Conor can't fight C-level boxers is out the window..

I'd love to see Conor spar with a Lara or Rigo type - that would be the best sparring for Floyd actually - an orthodox Lara or Rigo type fighter...

Not sure what to make of this. Paulie went 8 rounds with McGregor and Conor wants him back in camp.

This is a shot and out of shape Paulie vs Prime of his life McGregor and the sparring was "good work".

He won't lay a glove on him once Paulie gets his legs back under him. Seems like they were competitive and it was Paulie coming off the couch(essentially).

If this was any other fighter i would agree, But floyd is a rare exception, One of his best performances was at 36 vs canleo, and he still looked sharp at 38 vs many and berto.

Floyd also had zero rust after nearly 2 years off against JMM.

That's not to say he may not look old now, But if there is any fighter that this is likely to be irrelevant, its floyd.

As the interviewer describes Conor's power in MMA Paulie swallows and begins nodding a lot.

Before answering the question "Did you experience the left hand, what did you think of it?"

Paulie takes a deep breath, opens his eyes wide and says "yeah, yeah, he's got some pop in the left hand."

Paulie then essentially says Conor's going to need to work on more than just his left hand to make Mayweather worry about.

"You Look back on it, it was kind of fun"
"He's got some pop in his left hand"
                    "He's effective"
"There's a method behind his madness... I'm sure it'll be entertaining and fun"

What I'm getting out of all of this is that Paulie's saying Conor's got some power as expected, but it wasn't out of this world and Paulie doesn't think he has enough power to knockout Mayweather with 1 punch and needs other options.
I havent seen any McGregor vids of training with boxing gloves on to sggest power even for 170 or whatever he trains at 160ish . His biggest opponent is time ,really should have never agreed to not fight until october . Too much inexperience to make up for with such limited amount of training left till August.

Connor has a plan or a method to his madness

In the words of Mike Tyson - Everyone has a plan until they get hit.
