Conor has never boxed before although he is a good fist fighter in the cage. Mayweather has done nothing but box since he was 6 years old and he is great at it. How can Conor possibly catch up with Mayweather's boxing skill with only a few months practice as a boxer in spite of his age advantage? So Conor has good punching power. Cotto, Mosley, Pacquiao and Canelo have more hand speed and punching power and they are champion boxers and they couldn't knock Mayweather down. I doubt Conor will be able to hurt him. If Paulie is telling the truth then maybe Conor has a chance to win but it's a very small chance.

It will indeed be a funny sight when McGregor walks into the ring on Aug 26.He will have boxing shoes, 10-ounce gloves and boxing shorts: quite uncomfortable for a guy used to fighting bare-footed, in an underwear and with almost no gloves. On top of that, he has to chase Mayweather around the ring for twelve rounds while eating counters and pot shots. That will put him off! The only way out is to end the fight inside the first four rounds.

I can't stress enough how much this fight is going to suck. Mcgregor is good at what he does but he's going to try to invent new moves and it's going to end up looking so ****ing ******. All this movement UFC fans talk about serve no purpose in boxing specially against the best fighter of this era, give it a rest. He's going to end up looking like a severely ******ed/autistic version of Lomachenko. I can almost guarantee you he's going to get knocked out around the 8th round.
