They probably put a beating on Conor for talking ****, dude looking scared as hell with Conor bout to throw a roy jones straight left on his ass.

Paulie looks like an overweight chihuahua
So you're telling me an out of shape retired soft Paulie survived and was competitive with McGregor in sparring.

Then Paulie says he had "good" power... But didn't drop him.

And despite all that hes not sure "whether that can be effective or not" in a real match

To me all those are pretty big insults to McGregor that he couldn't easily beat retired Fattie Malinaggi

Why do you seem so insecure lol?

He's speculating, and you're embellishing his speculation...

I love Paulie. His boxing style, his commentary, and his podcast. But the funniest thing I ever heard nazzem Richardson say was that Paulie couldn't knock a glass of water of the edge of a table with a running start. He also said that if Paulie had good power, he'd have been an agt.

You may notice that the other sparring pics lepechraun released were of him landing punches. In this case, he was reduced to releasing a pic of him clowning but not landing anything.

Lol idk about anyone else here but to me it sounds like a patronizing comment. Like a pat on the head.

Also: He's not your conventional boxer but he knows what he wants to do.

Translation: He sucks, yeah, but he doesn't suck that much. He still doesn't have a shot at beating Floyd doe.

What did Paulie say that would have you suspect something nefarious?

Paulie sparred 8 rounds with the guy, said that he wasn't a complete novice when it came to boxing, acknowledged that his style is clearly unconventional but might be awkward enough to work for Conor, and put to rest this notion about Conor being able to one-punch a horse (while still acknowledging that Conor comes to the table with legit heavy hands).

It's clear that what Paulie has seen from Conor hasn't yet changed his mind on his the fight would go, so not sure what harm is being done

To me it sounds like he's saying "Conor's a little better than I thought... But that's not saying much."

Paulie's eyes and opinion matters; nothing any of the other sparring partners say is ever even weighed by anyone.

If Paulie had come out and given a full breakdown of the 8 rounds of sparring, good or bad, the betting line would move in a meaningful way, and the way that the general sports media would cover the fight would change in a meaningful way.
