Here's the dichotomy when it comes to FMJ and boxing:

Does Floyd make a lot of money and bring attention to boxing? Yes.

Are many casual fans normally turned off and unhappy at the end of Mayweathers fights vowing not to watch "boxing" ever again? Yes.

But how can Mayweather generate so much money, all the while turn casual fans away from the sport at the same time? Because that's just what he does. It's a weird makeup.

Did Floyd advocate the model of "fight not to see who's the best, but fight who can make the most money"? Yes

Just because "Floyd" is going to make a few hundred million in boxing this year, does that mean PBC, Canelo vs GGG and all other boxing matchups will benefit from Mayweather fighting McGregor? Aboslutely not.

Floyd is not the problem. All he did is kept on winning and fought plenty of good fighters.

The only problem I see is that Floyd placed so much emphasis on his undefeated record that young fighters see all his money and success and put that together with the 0, so then they think keeping that 0 is extremely important for success, thus avoiding tough fights and wanting to be paid unrealistic amounts of money to fight competitive fights.

Like him or not, Floyd worked his way up the game into the position he ended up in. Young fighters just want the end product without putting the work in and that isn't Floyd's fault. You can't blame Floyd for the mentality of entitled young fighters because their mentality is just that of many younger people today in general.

And at the end of the day, nobody has been forced to watch Floyd fight or pay for it but they still did.

Pay-Per-View hasn't been good for boxing! That's not Floyd's fault! It's interesting how people criticize Floyd for his "tactics" to sell a fight, but then forget who invented the tactic! Here's Oscar:

Getting away from SRL, Arum and ODH was the best thing Floyd could've done.

You're partly right. Oscar had that fight with Mayweather in the bag. Unfortunately he gassed out in the later rounds and Floyd took over. Oscar beat himself in that fight. I don't think he's bitter about it. I do think he's jealous of Floyds marketing prowess.

Now you can pretend all the fake pics you guys make of Floyd are real if you wish. If it makes you feel better to call him gay, cool. That means all of your favorite fighters lost to a puto, which makes them even less in the eyes of society.

What kind of man does it make ODH that he refused to fight Floyd for so long and then when he finally does agree, loses to a smaller man you say is gay?
