No boxing is what Mayweather did to you for 12 rounds. The funny part is Mayweather v. Canelo was just as competitive as Canelo v. Chavez lol
Think about that for a second...Comment

Basically, I mean Canelo lost all 12 rounds to Floyd and Chavez Jr. lost every round.
Neither was competitive.
Canelo fans never mention how Canelo fought at 155 to avoid GGG and made a disgrace of the Middleweight division.Comment

Actually, it's Canelo and Oscar that's salty. Mayweather was able to steal their thunder as soon as the fight was announced, while they're busy watching the Mayweather/McGregor press conferences like the rest of the fans.Comment

Canelo fighting at 155 as the Ring Middleweight champion was actually the biggest disgrace to boxing and destroyed boxing for a long period.
Now that he finally saw GGG vulnerable, he stepped up. Boxing hasn't had a million PPV fight since when? Canelo v. Cotto didn't even reach 1 mil, but both Floyd and Pac did well over 1 mil with Cotto.
UFC has had multiple million + PPVs just in the past year.Comment

To be fair, while the fight was shockingly bad, probably the most shameful performance I've seen by a boxer fighting on PPV, it didn't look like it'd turn out that way ahead of time. Chavez has, in the past, been a tough and rugged guy who seemed to prefer to fight face-to-face. Both of the guys were popular Mexican superstars fighting one another on a Cinco de Mayo weekend, plus for once it seemed that Jr. was taking training seriously. I never thought that even Chavez would just show up and move around the ring once his paycheck was secure, not for that kind of event. Little did we know that Chavez's character was just that poor. Still, even with that in mind, at least Chavez was an actual boxer who had previously held world titles, so even now it's still a better fight than Mayweather-McGregor will probably be.Comment
