  • Wilder vs. Joshua WEIGHT DIFFERENCE big deal or not?

    Potential Wilder vs. Joshua fight...

    Deontay Wilder:

    Age: 31

    Height: 6'7

    Weight in last 3 fights: 222, 226, 228 lbs

    ---

    Anthony Joshua:

    Age: 27

    Height: 6'6

    Weight in last 3 fights: 250, 249, 244 lbs

Wilder is 1 inch taller, but Joshua seems to weight 20-25 lbs heavier...

Is it a big deal or not?

The lighter guy has more options.

He can move and not get tired and is faster.

Its a very big deal bc Wilder at 6'7 doesnt hold his balance well when missing punches or getting hit . Joshua is a tank who plants him self well and is by far put together physically more balanced in itself giving him better coordination that lets him put more leverage and body behind his punches ......ppl are going to see just how weight does matter when a near same height Joshua with over 20 pounds more k.os Wilder before the 5th round .

If each guy feels comfortable with carrying their fight, without it affecting their stamina, I don't really think it makes any difference. A 225 lbs guy can hit just as hard as a 250lb guy. Personally I feel Joshua should be 10bs lighter, he would have better stamina without losing power.

Not surprised to see you pulling against the American fighter.

Joshua is too slow and stiff.

The lumbering dope dealer will get brutally Baptized and taken out on a XXL stretcher.

That sure worked out for Gamboa and Brook, in recent memory. David Haye too (vs Wlad), as a heavyweight example

If Wilder doesn't find Joshua's chin early he will get broken down and beaten up. To make matters worse I think AJ may actually be the tidier out-fighter as well, so Wilder would really have nowhere to run. His best bet would probably be to just go out and swing for the fences

It will be even a bigger surprise if you dont win "Most ******ed poster "twice in a row for 2018!

AJ doesn't have the stamina to wear down anybody but a 41 y/o fragile robot.

A fragile robot that wasn't all that when he was young

Wilder could prove to be just as fragile, and his technique is clearly leagues below even the old version of Klitschko. He has a puncher's chance, that's all. If the Ortiz fight comes off he probably won't even make it to AJ
