    What happened to the cyberboxingzone?

The site is still up but the forum seems to be permanently down. Sad. There was a lot of good information in the forum too. Anyone know what happened? Did they just decide to do away with the forum? Still a great site but I enjoyed reading the forum some years back too.

That sites been around forever. That dude mighta died or something. Or might be 74yrs old & all effed up or something. Could just be not worth the trouble maintaining it if its not bringing in traffic too.

A lot of boxing websites and forums are dead, its because Google changed their algorithm its why when you search for things now only websites like Ny times, la times, time magazine, huff po show up in search.

These boxing forums died because no more search traffic coming in only a select few like Boxing scene.

remember Dog pound forums from dog house boxing? that website is practically dead, I think this happened in 2013 when google changed and only put the big time news sites on top of search terms. I used to visit dog house, and saddo boxing, now they pretty much dead and their traffic died around 2013-2014

Google is greedy as ****, they dont let anyone rank on the front page unless they are rich or big sites, it sucks because its harde for me to find things, I used to type something in search about boxing and find old articles from other boxing sites now I cant I even remember a ****** article from Rollingstone showed up instead, wtf does rollingstone get a top spot just for writing about Floyd there website has nothing to do with boxing.

The owner took his ball and went home. I would only sometimes read the site and I don't know the details, but the guy in charge lost interest.

I do remember that he blamed the lack of interest in boxing which was a perfect self fulfilling prophecy for those old curmudgeon posters on there who loved nothing more than to wallow in the past and disrespect anything to do with the modern side.

The forum was hacked so they closed that section down. The nice thing about the website is the lineal histories, but they don't update any other sections.

Yeah, the main section was a complete pity party and a lament for days long ago. I used to like the "Where are they now?" type subforum they had so I could find out what retired boxers were up to now.

I would say the average age of the forum user there was around 80.

Yeah why do idiots hack the forum, also why bother updating the site when the traffic is gone? Google killed a lot of these boxing sites, i read articles before 2013 and they would all be from boxing sites, now all the articles aboit floyd or manny or big fights are sites like la times, si, espn, i dont like what google did, they killed the boxing websites, even boxing scene lost traffic to these changes. These forums used to be super active.

Doghouse boxing is dead, the forums were active now dead too.

The only active boxing forums are NSB and ESB.

yup, its crazy I miss going to other boxing blogs and forums now its like a ghost town, Saddo is dead and Dog pound is gone, Boxing scene and ESB are the last left that get traffic and both aren't very active compared to pre 2013.

I remember back in like 2009 Id type in a boxers name in google and all that came up were all boxing websites, now I type in a boxer and some major news website shows up first with only the big boxing websites.

I dont get why they changed their search algorithm it seems biasd as hell.

its crazy, *** Google man, I used to be able to find the stories and info I needed to when looking for older articles, like if someone told me hey do you remember what that type of shoe this boxer wore or that incident id just type Duran shoe from Hearns fight and id get the answers, now I type in a string of words and all that shows up is a major site that doesn't even cover boxer is in the top and it doesn't even have the info I need.

Boxingscene is like the last one left, and that spamming boxing 24/esb.
