Has Canelo Fought Anyone With GGG's Punching Power?

Kirkland and Angulo are overrated strong guys. They've got good, consistent KO numbers but its all against C level fighters. You can say the same thing about GGG's opponents, but I'd say his opponents have been in the B range.Comment

I certainly wouldn't expect it or bet on it, but there is a small chance.I don't think Canelo can win by KO. Based on fights where he was the bigger man against guys like Matthew Hatton, Mosley, Cotto, etc.....he couldn't knock those smaller guys out. In his fight with Angulo he hit Angulo with whatever he wanted to hit him with, the referee stopped the fight in the 10th with Angulo pissed off arguing with the referee for stopping it. Angulo was not unconscious, he was able to take Canelo's punches for those 10 rounds and didn't hit the canvas. Weight drained Chavez Jr was a walking punching bag for 12 rounds.
But I'm expected to believe Canelo will KO Triple G? Lol, yeah ok.
I mean Canelo can win on the score cards that is true. I agree with that.
It will be a good fight though. I'm glad we're talking about this fight, a real fight again instead of the circus, WWE event next month in August.
Looking forward to this fight September 16th. Hoping for a great, competitive fight where officiating is fair for both sides. If we get that, no one can complain.
I do expect a good fight as well though. But....I was greatly disappointed Canelo didn't take out Chavez. Even when Chavez did nothing when he had opportunities to, Canelo refused to step on the gas. Probably could of gotten a stoppage near the end if he just would have forced Chavez to go turtle, but he didn't. So I'm inclined to believe he won't against a higher quality guy like GGG.Comment

Triple G is a guy that's never been dropped or hurt in any amateur fight or professional fight. Couple that with what I mentioned about Canelo's past fights and history and I see virtually no KO opportunity for Canelo. Just my opinion.
Let's put Triple G in against the Angulo that fought Canelo, does Angulo make it to the 10th round.
If Triple G fought the weight drained Chavez Jr. that Canelo fought, does Chavez Jr. make it to hear the final bell after the 12th?
But styles make fights and Canelo brings a different style and dimension to this fight against Triple G.
It will be difficult for both, I don't have a prediction due to too many questions and intangibles in a fight like this. If a KO victory comes I believe that happens on the GGG side. Decision would mostly go to Canelo if they go to the scorecards. Triple G must really show he was dominant for a decision to go to him. I am hoping for fair officiating for both sides because we have seen bogus score cards from Canelo fights before. So hopefully we get a clean fair fight with the officials. Let's hope for the best.Comment

Yes LLLenady beat a mediocre Welterweight lol. Nothing surprising about that fight. Nothing at all. Most middleweights can beat most welterweights lmfao.....
Jacobs was ~5 pounds bigger than LLLenady on fight night so I don't see how weight factored into the fight much at all. The biggest difference seemed to be skill level. Jacobs wasn't a couch potato like LLLenady's...entire resume...so he was able to do things without taking much damage.
And Jacobs got PUT TO SLEEP before so it's not like his chin is granite lmfao. Hell his chin is shaky tbh with being KTFO and then KD by Sergio freakin Mora...the MW version of Paulie Malignaggi lmfaoComment
