I think this is what makes people think he has poor footwork. He is slow at chasing and closing distance on the Laras of boxing. But when he needs to step quickly to the side to make room for a body punch (Liam Smith) he is very very quick.
He won't be able to catch up to ggg. GGG will be on the outside and canelo won't catch him.

Quicker feet cutting off the ring yeah. I'm leaning towards Golovkin on this but you don't know what you're talking about.

Seems like an oversimplification in my opinion, but I have to respect and consider Willie's thoughts. Stephen Edwards also predicted Ward would stop Kovalev in the rematch, but he still hasn't decided who wins this one yet.

I still give GGG the slight edge over Canelo, obviously I disagree with Willie here, I don't think the only way to best Canelo is with legs.

Typical casual. You CLEARLY don't understand the sport, you say canelo outweighed mayweather by 20 lbs, that's ******ed. You must be 1 of these clowns who believes gigi weighs below 170 In any fight,& that jacobs supposedly outweighed him by the same ******ed amount. And btw Canelo loves to fight on inside watch vs kirkland/angulo etc. He hates chasing fleet footed fighters & gigi only likes fighting cans with no power or no movement, never both. Thats why he ducked Lara & fought a ww instead.
Hbo fight night weight mw vs canelo, canelo weighed 162.

Lol sure I do. He has quicker feet in general. Cutting off the ring, moving sideways, using his jab on the outside. However you want to look at it ggg has quicker feet. GGG can outbox you on the outside with a jab. Move side to side with the jab. Canelo can't. You will know what I'm taking about september 16th though.

The glaring weakness in your argument of trying to convince me that Canelo outboxed Khan is the fact that it was AMIR KHAN!! Canelo didn't need to outbox him to win the fight. All he had to do was land one punch. Canelo didn't look great against Trout, Lara, or Cotto TBH. Are you trying to tell me there is a glaring difference in the boxing skill between these 3 and Golovkin?

Just to be clear... I'm not picking Golovkin to win but your argument isn't convincing me that he won't.
