Canelo can't fight at someone elses pace, however Golovkin is a master at forcing the tempo to his level. The pressure of having a dangerous boxer puncher in front of him constantly is going to wreak havoc on his ability to think clearly and conserve energy.
Golovkins power will remain the same as the fight goes on, his IQ, footwork and jab will also remain consistent, however all of the advantages Canelo relies on WILL begin to fade as the fight goes on. His stamina, reaction times, reflexes, speed and upper body movement, all of these will slowly lower to a point where Golovkin will begin to land punches Canelo was avoiding in the first 3 rounds. He'll begin to become complacent with not always trying to avoid GGGs jab or power punches, because the energy required will be too high. He did the same in the later stages with Angulo, he does it in all of his fights.
Canelo starts off VERY strong, sharp and with good defence, but Golovkin remains consistent from the very start to the very end in all of his attributes and it will be Canelos biggest problem.
