This prefight hype sucks because it's just Floyd and Ellerbe hyping up McGregor, and then McGregor hyping himself up too. It reminds of the May-Berto pre fight. This is definitely not gonna surpass or tie May-Pac in sales #s.

Conor's original discipline was boxing, right? I don't think he had much of any success but he may be able to put together better shots than we believe.

I definitely think he has enough pop to stun Floyd. But I don't think anyone believes he can actually hit him lol

Leonard is just saying what he's supposed to say.

That's a long way to go to look bad. Sparring videos, training videos, etc... I've seen too many fundamental flaws to not believe that what he ACTUALLY has to offer.

Smart for Mayweather to take him seriously in spite of it.

Karate is his discipline. He's a stand up fighter who'll do anything to stay off the matt.

The only people that are talking up McGregor is the people making money out of the fight, Irish people and McGregor fans who probably never watched any combat sports until about a year ago.

There's a reason why everyone else, especially people in the game with a bit of knowledge say it's a total mismatch, some saying Floyd could end it whenever he chooses.

Ellerbe and co. aren't going to come out and say it's a mismatch when the fight has been met with a lot of cynicism.

Floyd cannot take him lightly, look at Manny Horn, Manny took him lightly a young very strong guy that had no fear or respect of Manny.

The difference here is Connor believes Floyd cannot hurt him that is significant in the early rounds, and it is reality that this is not prime or anywhere near prime Mayweather, Ive seen Floyd slipping since Canelo the little bits Ive seen of his training for Connor Floyd is looking soft and labored compared to years ago, its not the best May far from it.

Floyd should win but he cannot take Connor lightly especially early fight when Connor is bull strong.

Honestly glad to hear Ellerbe say this because I have the exact same though that Connor and his team are purposely releasing sub par looking footage of Connor as to make Mayweather feel he's in for an easier night than would be the case. I watch UFC avidly, almost as much as I do boxing to be honest and I will tell you, Connor really does have ridiculous timing in those hands. Unfortunately for him Mayweather has even more accurate and well timed hands. Also unfortunate for Connor is the fact that he has bad striking defence and is hit easily by his opponents who are no where near as accurate as Mayweather is.
