Comments Thread For: Ellerbe: Mayweather Not Falling for McGregor's Training Videos

NEW YORK Floyd Mayweather Jr. and his team don't think Conor McGregor is nearly as bad a boxer as the training videos he has released might lead people to believe. Leonard Ellerbe, CEO of Mayweather Promotions and one of Mayweather's closest confidantes, said Thursday night at Barclays Center that McGregor intentionally looked like an amateur in those videos to make Mayweather think their fight will be as easy as most boxing experts and fans expect.

Floyd keeps dropping little tiny excuses here and there because he knows that Conor may very well knock him unconscious.

An that's a fact, every time he touches somebody with that left the legs buckled or their on the mat even when moving away from him Floyd's not a young man anymore I'm not saying McGregor will win but I believe Floyd will be cracked

McGegor as looked exactly like what you'd expect from a guy with limited boxing experience. Not buying it for a second that he was faking looking bad. And the boxer he sparred publicly said how it went.

McGregor will bum rush Mayweather early and throw a lot of wild punches, that's his only chance. When Floyd is picking him apart by round 3 his only chance Left will be to play possum and throw something wild.

Colon is what he is: a failed boxer who couldn't cut it in a superior, more competitive sport and like many other failed athletes found refuge in MMA. Being able to piece up a bunch of grapplers who have no grasp of basic fundamentals isn't anything impressive non the grand scheme of things, and even one of those grapplers made him his b*tch.

It's good you have your own opinion but I really hope you don't bet much on that opinion

So how is it an excuse?? If he really thinks like you do and says he's not falling for the "fake" videos and believes McGregor is legit, how is that an excuse?

How's he going to be exposed?? The guy was an amateur boxer who won nothing. He's a bum in boxing

Only person who will finally be exposed to the public is Mayweather as the fight-picker smart boxing fans always knew he was.

See, people like you know current events but don't know their history. So you say stuff like "he fought guys when they were old". Here's a piece of history for you. He actually called out Oscar before this and said he wanted to fight him at 154. Oscar and Shane didn't want to fight him then much the way no one want to fight Spence now.
