Video breakdown saying Conor will be a "sniper" against Floyd

Ran across this on youtube last night and decided to give it a watch. This video basically predicts that because conors reach is so long and hes going to be so far away from floyd that conor will basically out counter floyd. Watch it and tell me what you think.

You dont have to watch the full thing about 10 minutes is enough to get the point across, this guy is really trying to say floyd wont be able to deal with conors range.

Its possible....but only because Floyd is older and slower now.

The undersized, piss drinking Marquez that Floyd fought and avoided most counters would ice McGregor easy.

Conor does have solid counters, Floyd does need to watch for them.

I think floyd is just going to walk him down, slip his left, and go to the body alot. Conor will probably gas from the pace up of boxing match very early then floyd might even TKO him. If you watch the guys conor is stopping in these vids they have slow feet, limited headmovement and slow hand speed and looping wide punches in general. Just not good boxers, but its what you kind of expect from a UFC fighter. The **** conor does against them wont work.

That would make sense, if Connor was an elite boxer. I know he's a world class fighter, but he's not a world class boxer, and that's the bottom line.

I think it's insane, honestly. I don't care what his reach is. From distance, reach disadvantage or not, Floyd paint jobs him.

Floyd is a boxing master, and one of the great counter punching artists of his generation. The idea that McGregor could "out counter" Floyd is...it's insanity.

Exactly , if he tries to play the range game with the wide stance to be as far away as possible it will only hinder him. Floyd will just do the same and frustrate him into mistakes, lets say conor is able to establish some sort of range, floyd isnt ****** enough like these chit tier boxers to just leap in head first and get countered.

Always going to be 1 idiot predicting the impossible in hope of a miracle occurring so they can be the 1 to say they called it.

And not to mention, even with Floyd being 40, his hand speed is still light years ahead of McGregor's. If anybody's going to be "sniping" shots it's going to be Floyd...as is usually the case.

Why anyone would buy into this hype at all is beyond me. McGregor had limited boxing experience before MMA, never went pro, has trained for maybe a year or so in just boxing (which is what took the fight a while to make imo), he did well vs Diaz, but Diaz is the closest guy to a boxer he's fought considering he has sparred with Ward a fair amount, but Diaz is slow, isn't anywhere on the map of Floyd. I'd be willing to bet even Floyd sr would beat McGregors ass in the ring, let alone Floyd himself.

2 wats McGregor wins. 1. A completely lucky punch.
                  2. Floyd takes a dive.

Reach means nothing if you're in with a guy with far better distance control, jab, and footwork to change the distance. At what point in a fight are you just dangling your arm out like you would if it was being measured?

Reach is overrated if you don't know how to use it, or if your opponent knows how to negate it.

Also the technique of the punch counts for a lot. Wladimir Klitschko has an 81″ reach but with his jab technique, you might as well add another few inches onto it.
